Mrrr~ And how do those attempts go~? Hopefully not as grrrandiosely as that first meeting! Susu… Oh, she is quite reclawsive and doesn’t share much, honyastly… and the vynopa is not a topic that can be approached all too easily, lots of wildly different people.
Are you certain you want to ask mew for infurrrmation~? Being fair, I do hear many-a-things… let me seeeee…
-On one hand, the temptation of giving a wrong lead for nothing more than the chaos and confusion it could bring was so great… but he DID wish happiness for Nazili and had no intention of causing real damage to them or their relationship.
After a couple moments of thought, he claps his hands and grins.-
Well! I’m sure you’re aware she love order and her hourglasses! But other things like Life’s little surprises… man, there ARE surprises when you’re around us all… uh, small details too, mrrr… you know, things are clawfully fleeting and painfully slow when you’re in charge of watching over time’s flow–time doesn’t really make much sense to mew–though it’s impurrrtant for everynyan that it doesn’t just knot over like yarn… soooo something a little unforeseen purrhaps! Have you thought of serenading her~? Songs and music do make things more lively!
-Or at least it’d be funny to see you try that on her.-
“Does Nazili ever get surprised? I mean, she does say she knows everything that has, can, or will happen, I wonder if she focuses on the big things and doesn’t really pay attention to the smaller things...maybe that’s whys he likes that so much.”
Of course he didn’t know if she really DID or not, but, he felt he could trust Vayu to some degree so maybe trying to surprise Nazili with something she didn’t expect would be...good.
“Hey, I do know how to sing and play an instrument. You could say my voice is just divine.” he joked,
In reality, he really did know these things. What kind of god would he be if he sung flat notes and played off key? He knew lute, and he could sing perfectly well. Maybe something like that would surprise her.
hyliahergrace:
She couldn’t be sure of what this was, but something when he glared at her had made her blood run cold. If the spring wasn’t helping– then it wasn’t blight. In the worse case scenario it would feed off his negative emotions and enhance them.
…Hylia wondered briefly if this thing had a mind of it’s own.
“Yes, that much makes sense… And that’s what I’m concerned about. If I may be honest… I’m worried that whatever this is… It’s something far more sinister than even I know,” She breathed steadily giving the strange, inky black markings another look, “…But I don’t think it is something that will just go away on its own, Lorin. Diseases in gods are serious business… at their worse they can…”
There was a heavy pause as she chewed her lip before speaking.
“They can transform you into something else entirely. Something sinister and dark,” Her eyes glanced up to meet Lorin’s own crimson hues, “Those few moments in the spring– you glowered at me with the hate of a thousand lifetimes. I am concerned it might be feeding off your own negative emotions,” Hylia let out a defeated sigh.
“Is there anything you can remember leading up to when you first noticed this thing? Anything at all that might stand out? It doesn’t matter how insignificant the detail may seem. We might be able to puzzle what it is out. Otherwise, I might have to ask around and see if any other deity has heard of such a disease.”
Lorin listened and watched the very concerned expression on her face. He didn’t much like that she was looking at him with so much concern. It was, odd to him. Was this really all that bad? Well, he sort of knew it was bad but tried to brush it off like he brushed off everything. That’s how he dealt with his problems, by forgetting the existed and drinking them down. But this wasn’t going away. It was just getting worse. He reached up and placed his hand over it, feeling a strange distorted energy radiating out.
“Come on blondie. I don’t have a sinister bone in my body. Sure I can be plenty disagreeable and kind of an asshole a lot of an asshole but I’m a pretty chill god, nothing’s going to change that.” he said, though there was anxiety in his voice, worry that that was what was happening. Something was eating away at him. Something was, infecting the worst parts of him that he kept tucked away.
He didn’t remember glaring at her, didn’t recall those tense seconds in the spring before he’d snapped back into himself. The fact that he was...forgetting, that was scary.
“Anything leading up to it...?” he thought about that for a moment. What’d changed recently, what’s been different? Well, he’d been laying off the booze quite a bit, and that was lending himself to a lot of inner reflection, but, that wasn’t a bad thing. He was trying to be a better person for Nazili, trying to get rid of a habit that hadn’t just harmed him, but everyone around him. Sure this meant that he was dealing with feelings he didn’t like, but, that was part of healing, right? He was finding other ways to cope.
“I first noticed it a while ago but it was small then. I don’t really recall anything that’s triggered it or where I could have got it.” he explained, “But it stayed small for a long while, you know? And then all of a sudden it’s blooming like a patch of dandelions. I guess, I’ve been...more, uh, introspective lately? Trying to weed out a lot of the negative things that still float around inside of my memories. Trying to figure out how I can forgive myself for things.”
That’s it, I guess. Just go on living, whether you feel like it or not.

“He has always called me that. Vayu intentionally puts as many cat puns in his speech as possible. I honestly have no idea how he does it without going mad… But I suppose if you’re a deity of the air then everything is light, regardless of how you approach the situation.”
She lifted her shoulders slightly and then draped her arms around Lorin again. She has to reach because he’s so much taller than her, reach because she’s so small. The amount of things she is made of, she thinks, is less than him, but she doesn’t mind.
“No, it wouldn’t. I know everything, past and future,” she states simply, her words soft and caressing, “Things yet to be, things that are, things that are not or never will be. In the end, Lorin, carrying your child and loving you will not shatter me.”
If things went as they were meant to, she wouldn’t shatter at all… But… That all depended, of course,
“Having a hard time reaching?” Lorin asked, looking down at her. She was, quite literally, over a foot shorter than him. She was so small, though he didn’t mind. After a moment, he leaned down and scooped her up into his arms princess style and spun her around. Before he leaned down to kiss her for a solid minute.
“Everything that every has been or ever will be. How do you keep all that tucked up inside this tiny frame of yours, Nazili~?” he hummed. There were still anxieties in him, but he was hiding him, as he often did when he felt things that were uncomfortable. “Well, if you say it won’t shatter you, let’s have five- no- ten kids!”
“I’m joking, of course...”
Not that he would mind having lots of children with her.

“Eh, I’m more of a bird person to be honest. Cats sometimes give me the heebie geebies. Except Vayu. Vayu is cool.”
The scent of a new demon filled the air, something odd for this world. As the sun set and the moon rose, so did the demon. Roughly 20 or so in appearance, he was a scrawny little thing. He'd be a perfect trap in the right clothing. He sported black feathered wings and curled iridescent horns that matched his long finely scaled tail. The tip of his tail was shaped like a heart, with the point sticking out in a threatening manner. Rose tattoos were starting to bud upon his neck, blossoming ink.

I bet you created the cutest gods ever
“I wouldn’t say I created Them so much as they came into existence as an necessity. The Triforce needed protectors of its pieces and so they came to be. Our relationship was more like brothers than father/sons. I was their big brother, I watched over them but didn’t restrict them like a parent would.”

Why did you create your world?
“Because I’m a complete masochist.”
“Honestly, I just wanted to. I saw what Hylia created and I used to be inspired by her so I decided to make my own...of course this took quite a lot of effort and I might have copied her in some regards but, well, in the end there was Lorule. This is a question that doesn’t have a strong definitive answer. It’s like asking mortals why they have babies.”
Lorin, have you ever created a deity?
“Uh, well, no, I mean, the Golden Three don’t really count. That’s sort of a different situation. But you need a lot of special circumstances in order to create a new deity. It takes a lot of your own personal energy.”
hyliahergrace:
She hadn’t expected him to push her away so sharply. However, when she saw the look of malice in his eyes her face paled. This was, indeed, worse than she thought. That angry stare, so filled with loathing made her blood run cold. This was not blight– or rather it wasn’t any sort of blight she was familiar with.
A sharp chill ran through her– and the spring water was not the cause. For a moment she can only stare back at Lorin. She needed to get him out of the spring. Quickly.
Without a word she quickly yanks him up and out of the water. Whatever this was it seemed to have been made stronger by the purifying powers of the spring and made it worse.
“This isn’t working. I think it’s making it worse. Quickly. Up and out!” She hadn’t intended her tone to be so forceful, but… her tone came out more like a panicked command.
…At this point she has to assume the worst. Moreover, she remembered that glare he’d given her. Perhaps… she was the last person he should ask for help.
“…Are you feeling alright?” Hylia spoke once she dragged him out of the water. Her gaze remained transfixed on the black markings that spidered outwards. It seemed to grip him like a parasite. In truth, she had no idea how to fix this, but she had… a brief suspicion that whatever it was– it was tapping in to his anger and rage. She wondered… if it was enhancing his own negative feelings torwards her in the process.
They had never been inherently close, and she thought of him as a nuisance more often than not, but… She hadn’t wanted to see anything bad happen to him. Her mind briefly thought of how so often people praised her and disparaged him. She thought of all the negative feelings that must have bottled up inside him that he so briefly alluded to in their worst fights, and Hylia frowned.
“…I’m sorry,” Is the only words she could muster in the moment.
“Hylia- Geez- Not so rough-!” He said, caught off guard by her sudden desire to pull him out of the spring. He didn’t really understand why she was suddenly so antsy to get him out. Hadn’t it been her suggestion to go in in the first place? Of course he wasn’t going to argue the fact at all. Mostly he was just confused.
Once our of the water he steadied himself, running a hand through his long hair with a mixture of anxiousness and worry. Hylia looked, for a moment there, afraid. His eyes moved down to his chest, seeing the black whatever had spread slightly. So, then, was this not blight like Hylia had thought? Was it something else?...Was it something worse? Lorin didn’t know how he could have contracted something like this. Whatever it was, from Hylia’s reaction, he was starting to worry if it was more serious than he’d thought...if he should have gone and had someone look at it much sooner.
“I feel okay...That stung more than I was expecting. Are you okay? Why are you apologizing?” he asked, “If you can’t help me, it’s no big deal. I’ll just uh, wait it out. Maybe I have some kind of Divine Cold or some crap like that. Can’t cure a divine problem with a divine spring, you know?”
He didn’t want to bother her too much if she wasn’t in the mood to deal with him. It’s just...he didn’t know where else to go. It’s not like there were infirmaries for gods. Gods don’t get sick. Still, he felt that he shouldn’t let this, whatever it was, just sit around.
hyliahergrace:
“That’s what would make it a development! Just think! A woman so jealous by your relationship with Lady Nazili she blights you in a fit of rage! It makes for a good drinking tail doesn’t it?” She teased, but fell silently as she watched him step into the spring.
She found herself holding her breath. If this didn’t work she would have t come up with some…. alternative solution. Moreover, if he wasn’t blighted then she would need to figure out what was wrong with him. Nayru’s Wisdom, she hoped that wasn’t the case
And at first, she thought her worst fears had been confirmed– that this wasn’t blight but something else entirely, but she exhales a breath she didn’t realize she;d been holding when he damn near doubles over. It was doing something–! And purification was never a…. painless process.
“Purification is always a painful process– especially when the blight is this far along. Just… try and hang in there. I promise it will get easier,” She murmured kneeling down in the spring and offering him a comforting hand on the back. She had been through this process a thousand times and it never got easier, “Can you move? I want to see if it’s actually helping. There’s no point suffering if its not actually going to help you.”
He doesn’t respond at first, or perhaps he can’t, over come with the pain he was feeling sear through him. It made everything hurt and numb at the same time. It made his mind draw blank for a moment, leaving the two of them with only the sound of the moving water filling the silence. That was until everything snapped back into place like the crack of a whip. Lorin shifted quickly, pushing Hylia away with a sharp shove. For a moment his expression held almost all the hate and loathing of the universe, there was anger, despair. In that expression there was nothing good. A malice that could disintegrate a soul with just a touch.
And then it was gone. Lorin looked confused, mostly because last thing he remembered was some pain after dripping some of the spring water on the black spot on his chest and Hylia had been outside of the spring and now...? He blinked a few times, pushing his eyebrows together.
“Hey, you okay? Did you trip or something? Geez you’re clumsy...you gotta be more careful where you’re stepping.” he said, looking awkward as his mind tried to fill in the gap that caused him to worry. Those seconds where he was gone.
After a moment, he looked down at his chest, to see if there had been any progress with it.
There hadn’t. In fact, it had spidered out further, just about reaching his shoulders. And it was sore. It caused him to grimace again, feeling something icy in his being. Icy, but sharp like thorns.
