At just sixteen years old, Nina underwent a massive spinal surgery fusion that would change her life.

After years of struggling with severe Scoliosis, the surgery had to be performed or Nina would have not been able to walk later in life. The scoliosis and the effects it brought along also effected Nina’s mental health as she developed severe clinical depression and anorexia.

While the six-hour surgery was successful, it brought upon many health complications. Nina immediately developed Superior Mesenteric Atery Syndrome, or SMA, which is one of the rarest diseases in the world (0.013%) with a 1:3 mortality rate. Her health began to deteriorate shortly after, she developed pancreatitis, pseudotumor cerebri, polycystic ovary and other metabolic issues.

Today, Nina still struggles daily with her scoliosis, and other illnesses, and the symptoms caused by them. Just in August 2014, Nina underwent another surgery, this time for her heart.

As you can imagine, she is frequently in the doctors office. She struggles with finding transportation to see her doctors and to go to work. Nina is also struggling to pay off some medical bills from over the past few years.

I hate begging, I really do but I was kicked off disability and me and my mom, who’s also disabled, aren’t receiving food stamps anymore. They’re literally taking it away from us because I’m going back to college, so I have to get a job to help support the both of us, and pay back disability, all while going to school. I can’t save up for a new computer like I was hoping too. So I made this Go Fund me to really help me out, even if you can’t donate please spread it around. I plan on taking online classes because it’ll cost even more to travel back and forth to school. 

Any help with this would take so much stress off of me.

My mom was in a car accident and will be out of work for a MINIMUM of 3 months.. She broke her leg and had a metal rod put in and she lost all of her teeth with major mouth damage.

There’s only so much I can pay for and it breaks my heart I can’t help my mom more. My siblings and I are doing the best we can at this time.

I would normally never ask but this is definitely overwhelming for all of us. She supports herself so not being able to work is a huge hit.

If anyone can help out, I genuinely appreciate it. If not, I completely understand and I appreciate the time reading this.

My best friend Tamara lost her daughter yesterday morning, July 6th after her heart stopped. I cannot even describe the pain she is going through. It is every parent's nightmare. At just 16 years old Alora had a bright future ahead of her. Alora was always smiling and enjoying life. Her family and friends are devastated to say the least. As parents we plan our children's first days of days of school, birthdays, graduations, holidays, etc. Never do we, or can we plan for their deaths. We are all struggling one way or another in our own lives. I ask if you can take a moment and give whatever you can so we can take some of the burden off of her shoulders. Hey, my name is Amyrenee (Amy) I don’t usually ask for help with money like this, but my situation is very difficult at the moment and this website has always been a large support system. Raymond Martinez, the man above is the only real father figure I have had in my life. He helped to raise me and I was closer to him than I was to even my mother, or anyone else in my life. He passed away unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm on Monday (June 15, 2015) At a very young age. I have never been this devastated. I never imagined the pain of losing a parent, especially as a high schooler. He was such a large part of me. I am posting this on a Wednesday (June 17, 2015) Wednesdays were our days. My relationship with my mom is/was nothing close to my relationship with him. We are from a very small and poor town in New Mexico. The local morgue is under new management and we must come up with $8000 before they will hold or plan any services for him. What I am asking is for help. The money above is everything we were able to come up with through family and friend help, but as you can see it’s nowhere close to enough. We are have car washes and everything we can to help but we know that we cannot do it on our own. ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN Baby Jenevieve Zamor is only 16 weeks old and has never left the hospital since the day she was born.  Jenevieve was born & diagnosed with Laryngeal Cleft Type III.  A laryngeal cleft is a rare congenital abnormality in the posterior laryngo tracheal wall.  It occurs in approximately 1 in 10,000 to 20,000 births.  What this means is that Baby Jenevieve has a gap between the esophagus & her trachea which allows food or fluid to pass in the airway.  This causes a number of eating & breathing problems.  Jenevieve Zamor is currently in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital which is the leading children’s hospital treating such rare cases.   Baby Jenevieve is still unstable and  her medical expenses are mounting at such a rapid rate as a result of various surgeries, emergency air lifts to both Miami Children’s & Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.  I work very closely with Baby Jenevieve’s mother Jasmine Zamor for many years.  Unfortunately Jasmine has not returned to work due to the severity of her baby’s condition. Please consider making a donation for this precious baby girl who has been a fighter since the day she was born.  Her parents Jacques & Jasmine will likely endure many more medical expenses & pray everyday that God the Father give their baby girl the strength and will to overcome this terrible battle. My name is Tyisha, I’m a Type 1 Diabetic. I was diagnosed in Feb of 2013 after becoming extremely sick and weighed about 86lbs. For the past two and half years I’ve had to inject insulin 4+ times a day everyday, to stay in my target blood glucose range.

In December of 2014 I was admitted into the hospital and had to have an emergency surgery, and I was also DKA aka Diabetic ketoacidosis is a serious complication of diabetes that occurs when your body produces high levels of blood acids called ketones.

Diabetic ketoacidosis develops when your body is unable to produce enough insulin. Insulin normally plays a key role in helping sugar (glucose), a major source of energy for your muscles and other tissues enter your cells. Without enough insulin, your body begins to break down fat as an alternate fuel. This process produces a buildup of toxic acids in the bloodstream called ketones, eventually leading to diabetic ketoacidosis if untreated.

Three months later in March 2015 I finally got to see an endocrinologist, who specialized in Type 1 Diabetes. Who told me that an insulin pump would be a great device for me.

I recently got approved for an insulin pump which will help me have better control over my diabetes. While I’m excited that I got approved the hardest part is coming up with the finances to cover the pump and supplies.
