Impulse has FINALLY posted his episode, and for the sake of both our sanities I’m gonna be live-blogging my experience in bullet-point style rather than spamming posts
It’s a darn good thing I have such a quiet, antisocial job. Here I am grinning like an idiot and skipping through the halls like a giddy baby deer because the man in my earbuds says he’s gonna do a thing in Minecraft. If anyone saw me they would be like “what’s that chick’s problem” LOLOL
Impulse already knows what he’s in for. Minecraft gymnastics at the bottom few levels, self-reflection and introspection at the top. He sounds incredibly nervous. GOOD.
“Welcome to the fizz-o-logical—vi—szeadj—it’s gonna take a while if you can’t read” 🤣
Hm. How come he didn’t hear Skizz’s “oh your lungs they feel depleted” spiel?? I guess he still had music disks turned off because of Metro Mayhem.
Bro is playing on HARD MODE he missed the pressure plate for the golden carrots on Level Two

THEY LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH I GRRRRRR [cuteness aggression intensifies]
It’s a small thing but I also love that Impulse was paying close enough attention to resister that he had to take his book with him. A lot of the hermits missed that even though Skizz said it. I understand that it’s information overload, so I’m not blaming them, but I love that Impulse is so locked in.

I CALLED IT I CALLED IT I knew Skizz was gonna talk about how Impulse is constantly striving for the best version of himself I KNEW IT gosh he worded it so beautifully though

You can hear that he’s still cognizant of the fact that he’s in front of an audience, and he’s supposed to be a presenter, but the genuine emotion in his voice is peeking through and it’s so sweet and touching
They love each other so much they love each other so MUCH this is everything I wanted and more

Listening to Impulse talk about what he respects about himself is lovely too. That constant drive is definitely something that drew me to him as a role model, and it’s good to see that he recognizes it in himself and considers it one of his better traits.

And his heartfelt words of thanks to Skizz and praise of his work on the Pyramid at the end. Oh my gosh. This was everything I wanted and even things I didn’t dare to hope for and it’s absolutely wonderful. Well done, Skizz; and well done to Impulse for being so in it and wholly invested the entire time. If this is the last run I see of the Pyramid, I’m so glad it’s ending on such a high note.
