You’ve been having such a good time on this trip and I didn’t want to ruin it. I need people and friends to thrive, more than just my brother. Father’s Day was yesterday and I know we’ve missed some birthdays and…I miss being home.

He never wanted to abandon any of us. He didn’t like that we kept breaking his rule of ‘no making out with your brother’. He knew he couldn’t live in the same house as his disappointment for sons, so since he owned it he kicked us out…..
It doesn't matter anymore. We're here, and he's there. I have you and that's all I need...unless you really miss dad.
I called to wish him a happy Father’s day and to just check up on him. He sounded…sad. Like the only family he had left couldn’t be counted on anymore.
Well.. that's not our fault. He's the one that kicked us out, remember? He wanted us to leave.

Yeah well he kind of got us screwed over on that front about 30 or so years ago.

Of course we can't. He's our father and if it wasn't partially for him, we wouldn't be here right now. Added with the fact that he raised us for most of our lives before he kicked us out.
