          It just so happened  that Annie's forehead           fit perfectly against  the bridge of his nose.           His  thumb  pushes   the corner of her lips           up.  He  was  testing  his  ability to picture            her  smile.  Eyes  squeeze  shut as if there           were something terrifying standing behind           her,  thumb  now pressing against her lips           to silence her. ❝ You're fine.❞
