so ive been thinking about hogwarts aus........more details under the cut
so let’s start with skye (she’s still using that name, initially, so its what im going to go with for the rest of this post)
skye’s half-blood, with her mother being a witch, but she’s been muggle-raised her whole life
some of her foster homes didnt take too kindly to the strange happenings around her, and she learnt pretty fast that displays of magic werent ok (of course, she didnt consciously recognise it as magic at the time)
this led to her becoming an obscurial, though she managed to survive longer than most
at hogwarts, her being an obscurial is recognised by coulson, who manages to teach her to accept herself (w help from may, trip & raina) before its too late
she’s close friends with fitzsimmons (who she met on the hogwarts express), trip (who she shares a few classes with), coulson (who’s sort of unofficially her mentor) and may (who sort of comes as a package deal with coulson). she also has an odd friendship with her house-mate, raina
skye’s sorted into slytherin, and has a pet cat named sir snuggles. her patronus is a butterfly. she’s also a member of the quidditch team
moving on to simmons
simmons is a pure blood, though she doesnt really care about those things (if anything, she finds it a bit irritating- she thinks being raised exclusively by witches has given her a rather limited world-view)
she’s fascinated by muggles- more specifically, muggle science. she wants to combine muggle science and magic, though most of her experiments with that have ended rather explosively, so most others discourage her from this
she met fitz before attending hogwarts, through a mutual friend (one professor radcliffe). they bonded instantly over their shared fascination with combining magic with muggle things
she has a pet baby wingless dragon, who is absolutely against the school rules (& probably wizarding world rules, frankly), but she insists upon keeping for Science. she gets away with it because most people arent able to recognise it as a dragon
simmons is sorted into ravenclaw, and her patronus is a poison dart frog
fitz
fitz is a half-blood, though he was exclusively raised by his muggle mother, so when one day professor radcliffe turns up and personally informs him that he’s a wizard, he’s rather shocked to say the least
the wizarding world is all a bit beyond him, but he finds the concept of magic fascinating (though, he doesnt particularly like calling it magic. he’s positive that theres a scientific explanation for it all)
he likes to combine magic with technology
he’s sorted into ravenclaw, has a pet tawny owl, and his patronus is a wingless dragon (something that most find very interesting, all things considered)

coulson: gryffindor prefect. has a pet raven, and his patronus is a phoenix
may: hufflepuff prefect. has a pet cat, and her patronus is a robin
bobbi: gryffindor quidditch captain. a mockingbird animagus. has a pet toad
hunter: hufflepuff. has a pet rat. patronus is a mockingbird, much to his annoyance
mack: gryffindor. has a pet toad. patronus is a hare
yoyo: slytherin quidditch captain. has a pet owl. patronus is a tortoise
raina: slytherin. has a pet cat. patronus is an echidna. she’s a seer, and behaves more like her post-terrigenesis self
ward: slytherin. gets expelled after the main trio’s first year. all-around not great person
