Dreary days with skies of gray were almost always much more enjoyable when in the comfort of ones own home. A place Rapunzel certainly wished she could be regardless of her apartment’s less than favorable interior. However, her optimistic shines through on even the dullest of days and no goals would be accomplished whilst sitting at home on the couch! No matter how comfortable those cushions could be...

Instead, the young woman remains near the register, back hunched and arms folded on the counter-top as she waits for a customer to enter. Doubtful that anyone would show up were the only assumptions that could be drawn as the sky continued to visibly darken from her view of the windows. So surprise is evident when the door opens without warning-- a sudden ‘ting!’ resonating throughout the cafe.

Immediately, the blonde straightens up her posture to eagerly greet the approaching customer- a familiar face she’s seen numerous times before. Once order has been placed, treat been prepared, and woman sat at an empty table, Rapunzel can finally approach the other and set down the plate decorated with a slice of cake. Realization that her boss isn’t around slowly dawns on her and although fear of being fired is strong, desire to make friends is stronger so she grins at the other.

“If you’re up for a bit of company for the time being... Consider this meal on the house!”
