Five times..
We’ve watched “blood, sweat and tears” five times in a row, and its starting to not sound right anymore.
Not because of bad connection, or because of buffering, or because you turned your head and swore you “missed” something.. but simply Because you wanted to.
We’re in The coffee shop.
The one you told me about countless times on the phone late at night, when I get home from practice.
The coffee shop that you claim to be the BEST coffee shop in all of Seoul.
The coffee shop that you deemed to good to be called its original name but the name you gave it which is “THE coffee shop”.
This specific coffee shop is approximately a hour from my dorm. Nights like these all the boys would be in the dorm just chillin. Jimin and Jungkook would be playing video games, Suga would be probably writing new music and Jin would be catching up on some laundry that has been sitting in the corner of our dorm, neglected through out the weeks due to busy schedule and laziness. It’s late, and I’m tired but because it’s your favorite place I don’t mind coming this late.
Sitting on these old, hard wooden chairs, that were probably here when this shop opened.. The Burgundy shorts that I decided to wear matched the Burgundy rough (but still somewhat soft) fabric that coated the old chairs.. I noticed it when we first walked in.
You told me I’ll like it here..
Aside from the chocolate chip pancakes that i only got one bite out of before you took mine because you were so “hungry” This place was terrible.
The shop was dim, and the floors creaked when you stepped on them. The table cloths were an ugly pastel pink which completely contrasted with the dirty Burgundy chairs that was slowly rubbing itself against the back of my bare knees causing it burn a little .
I’m not happy with this place..
But you are.. So I’m okay with my legs burning.
I’m sitting across from you in a booth, but it’s so small our knees are touching. You don’t seem phased by it, but my face is starting to feel like the back of my knees rubbing against the aging fabric on this old wooden chair.
And were both really tall.. Oh well.
Your hair is up in a bun, but loose stiff curls keep falling out of it every once in a while. The short ones that are at the back, but you keep in place with a Bobby pin. You forgot them…so they keep coming out.
You told me not to call them stiff, but kinky.
I tried to help, but you told me not to touch your hair.
I like to look at it anyways.
That kind gesture of mine caused you to look up, you gave me a death glare,which also in the progress caused you to “miss” a part of the video..
You restarted the video..
Six..
Six times we watched “blood, sweat and tears”.
And honestly, if your not tired of watching it, neither am I.
You look sleepy now..
It is 3 in the morning after all.
We didn’t have to come out this late, but you insisted.
Because chocolate chip pancakes taste the best EARLY in the morning and not after 12 noon, when I would eat them..
Well that’s what you told me
I didn’t argue..
I look across the table at you again and smile. The video your watching is reflected off your glasses and highlights your face. To be honest your cheeks look like thick slices of rich chocolate dipped in gold.
I smiled again and lean in a little to get a better look at your face.
It’s uniquely beautiful..
Just like the rest of you.
You made a little giggle when Hoseok came on the screen..
I would be lying if I wasn’t a little jealous
Even tho you insisted that, the only reason you favor him so much is because hes a “Dance God”.
I wouldn’t be so jealous if you didn’t smile so much whenever he comes on the screen.

At some point in the Third time of you watching the video, you ordered me to take down notes on the video.
On what exactly..I don’t know,You never told me.
You were wired like that, randomly coming up with ideas.
At random times, to never follow through the entire thing at the end.
That’s probably one of the reasons I like you so much..
One of the many reasons..
To tell you the truth, I like you more than you could ever know, even tho I tell you almost all the time
But you never get tired of hearing it,
And you know I’ll never be tired of saying it.
And if one day you just happen to become curious of how much I actually Love you,
A very detailed list may I add..
Of everything you do, and everything you say, that makes me fall deeper and deeper in love with you. You’re still watching the video, and at this point I’m just staring at you from across the table, just admiring..remembering.
Remembering every detail of you perfect, almost ethereal face.
You glanced up from the video and stared straight at me.
The atmosphere in the room suddenly became more hot, and suffocating and I was trying everything in my power to keep a straight face, and to not break under your intense gaze.
You held this gaze for a while it seem like.
Everything felt calm and relaxed, Everything seemed to slow down, Your stare became more intense, and my heart could beat any faster.
You lean in forward slightly and tilted your head.
So I did the same thing ..
The corners of your lips turned up for a split second, and continued to lean forward, until our faces was inches apart.
Now my heart was beating rapidly, my brain felt like it was rattling, and I could fell beads of sweat starting to form on my forehead.
I know what your thinking..“Wow he’s sprung”.
And i would say you are very right..
Your eyes bore in closer and a look of pure focus was painted on your face. I crossed my arms and lean in a little closer. I don’t know what we were doing, but being so close to you and your face being millimeters from mine, has me a little lost.
You look straight into my eyes and smiles.
The most beautiful smile, I have ever seen. And with that, you lean back into the chair and restarts the video.
So Seven,Seven times we watched blood sweat and tears..And honestly if your not tired of..Neither am i.
