Such meetings were meticulously SCHEDULED for a reason , and this , arguably , is why he ultimately decides to step into the living room clad only in a golden robe , open at the chest , and black silk pyjama bottoms after , of course , untangling his legs from the Chairman && his terribly timed bid for attention . This is HIS home , after all , and anyone who thought that they could simply call upon him unannounced would simply have to deal with his choices in wardrobe .

Woolsey is unable to help how his lips twitch up into a smile at the sight of Magnus, the first familiar sight since awakening in the twenty first century. His eyes scan briefly over him before returning to hold the warlock’s gaze. He knew Magnus would not take kindly to just anyone wandering in at any time –– Woolsey himself could be just as particular about it –– but he hadn’t thought that sending a message of some sort to arrange an appointment was the right way to go about this either.
“Apparently,” He starts after a pause, realising that he really should say something to attempt to explain why he was not still lying in his grave ( even if he doesn’t have a real explanation for it ), “Someone, somewhere, decided I was meant to –– have a second chance.”
It’s probably the most unsure he’s ever sounded before and a small frown creases his brow. He can’t shake the nervousness that has followed him this whole time or the worry that this was the result of something darker than it initially appeared. What reason was there for him to live again?
