HER HEART IS BREAKING all over again as she watches the boy’s fallen tears turn into a full blown sob, he is broken from the people in his past and no one had ever told him it wasn’t his fault. her hand rests on his thigh as he lets out his sobs, not wanting to overwhelm him, but still allowing the pressure be a tell that she was right there with him. her own tears start to roll down her cheeks, trying her hardest to shake her own sobs from coming out — it was the hardest to watch the person you loved most be in so much pain. soon, it becomes too much, and ariel finds her hand peeling his arm away from his face, throwing herself around his neck and burying her face in his neck with the tightest of hugs that she could muster. “ and i promise i’ll show you a life worth living. ” ariel whispers, as she pulls away to connect their foreheads, bringing her fingertips up to lightly brush away his tears, making sure not to touch any of his bruises. “ i love you, and i’ll never stop giving you the world that you were meant to have. ”
