After yet another teleportation mishap, Sayori found herself inside the store Dressed to Kill. Not that she knew the store, she had never been to this part of town before. Her rather unstable power landed her in a bit of a spot (again) as she was now stuck in a jacket. Upside down.
“Oh not again…uuuu I need to figure this teleporting out…one of these days I’m really going to regret it…”
Her teleportation had been on the fritz since that incident at the vending machine and hadn’t given any signs of slowing down or stopping any time soon. On the bright side, she was now in a clothing store which she desperately needed, seeing as she was still wearing the same clothes when she first arrived, she had been hoping to get another set of clothes. On the downside, she had absolutely no money whatsoever to buy anything. Sayori struggled a bit to get out of the jacket, but to no avail.
“Oof, uh hello? Could anybody help me out please? It’s dark and I’m stuck and I don’t know where I am! This teleporting thing isn’t fun anymore…I keep getting stuck!”
Cloud had already gotten stuck in a loop of wandering aisles, trying to look like he wasn’t looking for something even though he was looking for something but he had no idea what and he refused to accept help looking for things he wasn’t looming for. Which was quite the headache, both for him to try to comprehend and for him to actually do.
He spent about twenty minutes stuck in that hellish, utterly confusing loop before a noise from a few aisles over caught his attention. It sounded like some kind of muffled struggle. Concerned, he quickly tracked down the source of the noise…
To a pair of boots sticking out of an oversized jacket top and a bit of pink hair coming out the bottom. He had to wonder exactly how somebody had managed to get that stuck. For one thing, it was just plain hard to get there in the first place; and for another, it seemed downright impossible to get there on accident. He didn’t see any sings of perpetrators, and any struggle would’ve made a lot more noise before this happened.
Cloud grabbed the back of the jacket and lifted it up, bringing the whole thing to a more or less even level, and unzipped the whole thing in one swift motion.
The light! Sayori could see again! Being stuck in a jacket wasn’t exactly pleasant, so the girl was grateful for whoever freed her from this padded prison. She was greeted to the sight of a young, blonde haired man. He looked rather strong.
“Oh, hi there!” She said, still in the jacket. “Thanks for getting me out of that jacket, it was starting to get hot!”
Sayori stumbled off of the jacket and fell to the floor.
“Oof...that’s like the gazillionth time I’ve fallen...” Indeed, the young girl had been repeatedly tripping over just about everything in this city. Her thoughts were interrupted as she remembered what had just happened and stood up to greet her, er...savior.
“Hiya! My name is Sayori, thanks again for letting me out of there! What’s your name? And um...where am I?”
