tfws respective dad roles go as follows

Dean: well meaning step-dad who’s on thin ice. the one who will drive Jack to events and appointments. loves to show him how things work. will have a panic attack if asked to provide any emotional support whatsoever

Cas: the one who Gets It. he understands. this is Father Prime. the most demonstrably affectionate dad of the bunch. doesn’t give great advice but is an excellent shoulder to cry on. loves doing weird activities with his son that would confuse or frustrate other people

Sam: the one who has a lot of experience with Appearing Normal. this is the guy that will give Jack actually helpful advice. not physically affectionate but ivery good at listening. knows how to learn new information and use the computer. will happily talk to Jack about society
