Happy World Blood Donor Day!
Just a thank you to anyone that has given blood in the last sixth months and a plea for those who haven't! Giving blood saves lives, its painless and only an hour of your time!! :)
People with O+ are especially needed as there blood can be shared with everyone!
Have a great day!
Donating clothes to charity... Baby lifeline
Hello!
I know i've been absent for a while and I send my apologies but i'm back with another good deed :)
I have gone through all my clothes and sorted out the ones that needed throwing away and the ones that I can send to charity. I have ended up with a full bag full that was very hard to close! We get several charity clothes bags through the door and I chose Baby lifeline (The mother and baby charity) because I would like to help a wide range of charities. The charity dedicates itself to helping improve maternity wards and helps buy new equipment. A link to Baby LifeLine is here :)
I'm still waiting to hear back from Anthony Nolan, but I am quite sure I will soon.

Anthony Nolan.. Saliva Testing Kit.
Hello!
After a long wait I have finally heard back from the Anthony Nolan charity! :D I am eligible to donate and received my Saliva Testing Kit. Here are pictures of what the kit involved, you are told not to eat, drink, smoke or chew gum for 30 minutes before you give your sample.
After they receive the sample they will add it to their database and send me a registration card, as well as an information package.
I havent managed to complete my good deed for this week due to visiting home and friends but I am going to get round to it very soon!

Good Karma...
Hello!
The good deeds I have been doing lately must be paying off! On my way to work this morning around 5:50am, I spotted a £5 note on the floor! :) very happy with my find I decided to put it to good use and after work and visited the Arthritis UK Charity shop. As I want to keep it an anonymously as possible I didn't really want to go up to the counter and just ask to give it to them! I couldn't see any buckets to put it in but I noticed they are doing a summer raffle and decided to buy some tickets. With every ticket you buy you got three free tombola tickets, it was only a small tombola and so I didn't think it would be a good idea to take 15 (I bought one ticket and won some body wash on the tombola). With £1 down I visited the next shop on the way home which is AGE, UK. There was also no buckets to just put change into and the woman at the counter did not seem very pleasant. So for now i have decided to save the £4 until I go into town later. I will have a look around and see if I can put it to good use :)
Paired with £5 I got at work as a thank you for working hard, I really am starting to believe in good karma!
Heres a picture of the ticket, I was surprised at how good the prizes are!
Wish me luck in the draw!

Anthony Nolan.. UK Blood Cancer Charity
Hello!
I have recently decided to join the Anthony Nolan Register, the register matches donors's tissue to patients who need Blood Stem Cells or a Bone Marrow Transplant. The register has been set up to save people's lives from all around the world. At the moment the charity is only able to find a match for half of the people that need it. They are currently searching for Males between the age of 18-30 as they only account for 12% of donors. I am currently waiting to hear back from the charity to see if I am eligible to donate. They will then send me an information pack and a saliva testing kit, I will use this to send back a sample and they will be able to see what type of tissue I have and if anyone needs it.
Ill keep you updated

The beginning..
Ooooooooooooookay, so I haven't really been posting on here when I said I would and ive thought of something I am going to do permanently and decided it would be cool to share it on here :) it will also ensure I keep posting and have something to post about!
I want to do at least one good deed a week and I am currently on two weeks running WOO!
The good deeds I have already done were firstly, I sponsored an acquaintance £5 for a 10k run she is completing for an MS charity. From doing a 10k run myself I know how challenging it is and although I don't particularly know this girl I thought what she was doing was amazing and she deserved the money even if it was only a small amount.
The second deed I did last week was that I bought a homeless man a sausage roll when I got my breakfast in the morning. He was very grateful and I really hoped it made his day slightly better.
Ill try to post pictures etc when I can and my deed for this week will be to give blood, i've read on the news that supplies are dangerously low and they only get worse when there are big events, such as the Olympics.
Muchos love Amigos!
