*Johnny’s eyes widened in shock. He started to run his hand through his hair, pacing back and forth.*
*Is this random stranger really telling the truth? How do they know this? Were they a friend of Sallie’s that he wasn’t aware of? No, it can’t be. He knows all of Sallie’s friends. Were they one of Will’s friends?*
*He sighed. He didn’t know what to believe. I guess the only way to find out the real truth is to ask the man himself.*
*He made his way to Will’s dorm. Taking deep breaths before his bare knuckles knocked on the door.*
“Will? @williamwilson1931 You in there? I need to talk to you. It’s very important.”
Out of all the things he'd find himself busy with today, William did not expect a visitor.
At the hearing of Johnny's voice, he rushes towards the door -shoot, man sounded like somebody had gone unconscious! «J-Johnny!? Didn't expect to see ya around here, come on in!»
Good thing he had cleaned up this morning.. yeesh. «What can I help ya with? Did something happen?»
“Thank you.”
*He turned to face Will. His shoulders slumped as he sighed heavily. His hands felt a little clammy. The man was getting anxious. Which was odd since he was always able to talk to Will. It felt natural almost; the way how he was able to talk to him about anything. I guess this time, the stranger got his tongue tied.*
“So,” *He cleared his throat.* “Well first of all, you’d tell me the truth about anything right?”
*Okay, enough dancing around the question.*
“So, I gotta ask. I know this is random, but someone in the academy told me this and I couldn’t get it out my mind,”
*He took a deep breath before he continued.* “Did you really have a crush on a Sallie? Or did you really like someone else?”
The man quivered his lips full of dreary, as cold sweat ran down his spine; one wrong move, one ill timed manner and the entirety of his facade would shatter within moments of time.
At first, William stood there shook, with a trembling voice not even a remedy could save; then he realised, 'twas nothing more than a trick of the wind. «O-oh! Sallie, eh?» folding one of his elbows upon a wooden desk, the tone of his voice grew irritably confidence «Psss-nawh! I would never like her!»
«Come on Johnny, y'know how women are!»
“Mmhm yeah.”
*The way he said it felt dry. Johnny didn’t know what to say. He was too lost in thought to form any words at the moment.*
*Yeah, it was great to know he didn’t have a crush on Sallie. At least that question was answered but then— why didn’t Johnny feel satisfied? Was he expecting a different answer? Was he expecting Will to say more?*
*He sighed as he rubbed his face and ran both hands through his hair. The mental gymnastics is his mind was not helping him calm down at all. He knew the next question he was going to ask was going to put a strain in their relationship.*
“Um… that’s the not the only thing the person told me.”
*It felt like there was a big weight on his back the way he was slouching down; head tilted to the floor. He couldn’t make eye contact with Will with what he was about to say. The nerves were creeping up his body, making him feel a little faint.*
“They said the person you really had a crush on… was me.”

«W-WHAT!?» Shitshitshit, this cannot be happening, please god, tell me this is not happening «W-WHO IS GOIN' AROUND SPREADING LIES ABOUT ME?» Johnny is a good guy, a great guy even. Sure, they didn't know eachother for long enough to be called "good friends", but that didn't matter to him. *He titled his head up to make eye contact with Will; he shrugged.* “It was just some random person that came to me and told me this. And, I thought you knew them by the way they were talking about you.”
*He sucked his teeth when he realized he didn’t get the strangers name.* “Too bad I didn’t get their name though.”
*John immediately noticed the way Will’s tone of voice changed. He spoke softly, his brows drawn together in a sympathetic concern.*
“It’s okay, Will. I know your not—"

Brushing the back of his neck nervously, the words kept flying out of his mouth like swift sparrows.
«Bringing a guy like you back home is like telling ma and pa that I won the lottery -if I was a girl!»

*Johnny has gotten compliments before but, never like this. Shoot, not even Sallie gotten this creative.*
*A small smile curled on his lips as he walked closer to Will. His heart beat quicken with each step. Without a thought in the world, he reached over to ruffle Will’s hair. His hair was smooth as silk.*
“I hope you don’t think you ain’t a catch either Will. You are handsome.” *He acknowledged.*
*Suddenly, the tone of his voice changed. He spoke in honey tones, sweet and gentle. He lowered his voice just enough for him and Will to hear.*
“I’ll date you too… if I was a girl but…” *He gently tugged on Will’s hair to pull his head up to make sure he was looking into his eyes.*
“Sadly I’m not.”
Oh, what a remedy it was to be seen by the eyes of a man he held nearly most dear to his heart. One dive in those baby blues and he'd become a drunken sailor; praising the sea, day and night, for it is what solely brings bliss to his soul.
William hanged at the tip of his mouth, listening to every word Johnny sweetly whispered -swooning, almost, utterly lovestruck. Is this what sin felt like? Could he drown himself in it for a lifetime? Could he leave all sense of shame behind?
«W-why, that's very kind of you..» he fluttered «I don't think anyone has ever said something like that to me before.»
If he could only lean closer. If he could only hope.

*It was like he was lost in a trance the way he was gazing so deep into Will’s eyes. Those beautiful, amber eyes; the way how it sparkled in the light like diamonds. Right now, in this very moment, nothing else mattered in the world but the two of them. And Johnny didn’t mind falling head first in Will’s world.*

*The memory of him and Sallie at Will’s shop during the storm flooded his mind. He realized the way every time Sallie would try to push up or flirt with Will, he would back away. Every time Sallie tried to have a conversation with Will, it looked like he wasn’t even listening. And, every time Sallie would try to help him with something, he didn’t seem pleased. But, if it was Johnny, who did any of those things, Will was the opposite.*
*Cause it made sense. It made sense now why Will was acting so different with Johnny. It was more than just two strangers getting to know each other. That’s when Johnny realized… souls don’t meet by accident.*
*He grabbed Will’s chin and slowly leaned closer to him, his heart beating by the mile, as he spoke in hushed tones.*
“I don’t care if you ain’t a girl either, Will.”
His lips parted ways, letting out a short breath, before softly interlocking with Johnny's; he allowed himself to be consumed by bliss, just this once, succumbing to this ineffable desire. Skin brushing against skin, the man had never known greater warmth; he'd cling upon this moment, almost desperate while his arms wrapped themselves around the broad shoulders of his companion.
One entire lifetime had been wasted away by the poor choices of his own cowardly foolishness, William wouldn't allow it -should he have things his way- to travel down such path again.
This was no moment of a weakness, no, he would own up to it! This was his own doing! William Wilson has a backbone!

Alas, for a helpless yelp was all that escaped him. Quick his hands were to cover the mouth which bared his own sins, as well as to create distance between them in a haste.

Suddenly, without a care in the world, he gently tilted Will’s head to the side, giving him access, as he pressed a soft, lingering kiss to the curve of Will’s neck. It felt like fire ignited inside him, the way his body was growing hot for Will’s touch.*
“I know you want me like I want you Will.” *He whispered in his ear.*

*He turned to face Will. His shoulders slumped as he sighed heavily. His hands felt a little clammy. The man was getting anxious. Which was odd since he was always able to talk to Will. It felt natural almost; the way how he was able to talk to him about anything. I guess this time, the stranger got his tongue tied.*
“So,” *He cleared his throat.* “Well first of all, you’d tell me the truth about anything right?”
*Okay, enough dancing around the question.*
“So, I gotta ask. I know this is random, but someone in the academy told me this and I couldn’t get it out my mind,”
*He took a deep breath before he continued.* “Did you really have a crush on a Sallie? Or did you really like someone else?”
The man quivered his lips full of dreary, as cold sweat ran down his spine; one wrong move, one ill timed manner and the entirety of his facade would shatter within moments of time.
At first, William stood there shook, with a trembling voice not even a remedy could save; then he realised, 'twas nothing more than a trick of the wind. «O-oh! Sallie, eh?» folding one of his elbows upon a wooden desk, the tone of his voice grew irritably confidence «Psss-nawh! I would never like her!»
«Come on Johnny, y'know how women are!»
“Mmhm yeah.”
*The way he said it felt dry. Johnny didn’t know what to say. He was too lost in thought to form any words at the moment.*
*Yeah, it was great to know he didn’t have a crush on Sallie. At least that question was answered but then— why didn’t Johnny feel satisfied? Was he expecting a different answer? Was he expecting Will to say more?*
*He sighed as he rubbed his face and ran both hands through his hair. The mental gymnastics is his mind was not helping him calm down at all. He knew the next question he was going to ask was going to put a strain in their relationship.*
“Um… that’s the not the only thing the person told me.”
*It felt like there was a big weight on his back the way he was slouching down; head tilted to the floor. He couldn’t make eye contact with Will with what he was about to say. The nerves were creeping up his body, making him feel a little faint.*
“They said the person you really had a crush on… was me.”

It was 8:31 p.m.
A frustrated groan escaped his lips. His patience was running thin. Where is this man? The sleepover started about a half an hour ago. Just because you’re rich doesn’t mean you get to be late! He got up from his bed and began to pace the length of his room, running a hand through his hair every few steps.
Johnny got invited to a sleepover by one of the students in the academy. It was a note. At first, he was hesitant since he had never been to a sleepover like this before. But then, after some thinking, he decided why not? Reasons being, this is the perfect opportunity to finally meet up with the man who his ex, Sallie, is dating. To finally have a conversation with the man to understand on what the hell Sallie even sees in him especially with the name Thomas?? Seriously, Johnny sounds so much better.
A muscle in his jaw twitched as he glanced up at the clock again. 10 minutes has passed.
“He’s not coming, is he?” He mumbles under his breath as he sighed heavily.
“If he wasn’t gonna come, he could’ve at least let me know!” He huffed.
He walked over to the window where Thomas should be meeting him. After all, the man isn’t even enrolled in this academy so he had to sneak him in somehow. He peered through the window to see if he was out there.
Nothing.
“Fucking bastard.”

Thomas stepped out of the car, closing the door behind him. He waves his chauffeur a goodbye as the man drove off. He observes the building standing before him. Nevermore Academy. He wrinkled his nose in disgust.
“God, I forgot how awful this place looked. It looks like a pris— Oh, wait…. It is.” He says in the most monotoned tone.
Thomas has been here before when he used to visit his ex Ada. How regretful he feels wasting all that with that horrid woman; chasing something that was never really nothing. He made his way towards the academy as the slight breeze hit in his direction. It was a little bit chilly out tonight. Luckily for him, he has his robe on. A heavy, velvet robe the color of midnight, its collar trimmed with fur.
In his hand, he holds a note. A note from johnny that shows directions on how to get to his window. He can’t believe he’s doing this, but what’s the point of life if you’re not taking a risk?
He walked through the open gate and made his way around the building. His neck craned back so far it ached a little. Good lord, there was so many floors. His dorm better not be on the last floor or I’m fucking leaving.
“JOHNNY! I’M HERE! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!” He called out.
Suddenly, a rope out of thick blankets dropped down from the 4th floor window. His eyes widened like they were about to burst. That man has lost his mind.
“YOU’RE JOKING, RIGHT?! HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO CLIMB UP THERE WITH THIS?!” A sigh escaped him, filled with annoyance. He can’t believe what he’s seeing right now.
While he paces his room, he heard someone call out his name. He immediately dashed to the window. It was Thomas. He was finally here. Fucking finally.
He grabbed the long rope made out of thick blankets that he made earlier and quickly opened the window. He threw one end out the window and held on to the other end.
He heard Thomas complaining, but he doesn’t give a fuck.
“YES, I’M SERIOUS! JUST CLIMB ON WHILE I HOLD ON TO IT!” He shouted.
His patience was running thinner and thinner as time went on. “JUST HURRY UP MAN!”
A loud, frustrated groan came out of him. He has no choice but to, doesn’t he? He would’ve love to use the front door like a normal person would, but apparently, the deans of this academy, does not like him. All because he called them hideous. Insanity.
He grabbed onto the rope blankets and jumped, landing both of his feet on the wall. “DON’T RUSH ME! I HAVE MY FANCY ROBE ON THAT I DO NOT WANT TO GET DIRTY!” He shouted.
This was his favorite, very expensive, robe. He was not going to get it dirty for anyone. Not even for a man he just met. “JUST HOLD ON TIGHT WHILE I CLIMB UP! IF I FUCKING FALL, I’M SUING YOUR ASS!!”
“If I fucking fall, I’m suing your ass.” Yeahhh not in this world buddy.
He holds onto the blankets, clenching his teeth, gripping them tightly while he feels the weight of Thomas climbing up towards the window.
The sounds of huffs and puffs swarm around them with every tug and pull. Finally, Thomas’s head appeared, followed by a shoulder, then the rest of the body tumbled onto the floor.
Johnny dropped the rope made of blankets onto the floor while he gasped for air.
“Finally…It took… you long enough.” He says between breaths.
