This is all so dumb to me. Yes XQC is a right winger, he has expressed right wing beliefs and you would know if you watched hasan. Him going to meet donald trump is a way to support him, specially after in the victory speech they thanked Joe Rogan and Adin Ross for the election.

Dream coming in defense of XQC is dumb, him posting that meme is even dumber. I usually see eye to eye with Dream because I understand being autistic and over explaining stuff and digging a hole around you, and everybody is laughing and preying on your downfall when you are just trying to share why you do the things that you do.

I also think Tommy is in the wrong, him and jack have been egging Dream and I think they wanted him to finally react, as jack said in his tweet.

I’m just not on anybodys side, I’m really upset at all the misinformation that’s going around and all the people who hate Dream that will believe anything they hear and not even look for the source.

That’s it, the dsmp is still dear to me, I wish this didn’t happen but it has been brewing since the start. Now everybody is making their beds and lying on them.

c!tommy is so interesting because he is a rare case of a truly relatable and realistic abuse victim in media

his trauma doesn’t make him gentle and quiet, he never becomes “better behaved” for his abuser even when he TRYS to change. he consistently hides things from his abuser, lies to abuser, yells at his abuser despite knowing the consequences he will face, solely because he KNOWS what he is experiencing is unfair and cruel

he gets ANGRY and LOUD, and can be mean and selfish and that’s what makes him perfect, his personality is still his personality, the trauma changes him but he is still ultimately TOMMY

he doesn’t become just some broken empty husk of a person, he also doesn’t heal perfectly and magically move on. he ends up somewhere in the middle just like most of us do. he’s scared and damaged but he still gets excited, he still strongly loves his friends and family, he still has hope.

i do mean it when i say 10 years in the future, the dsmp itself might have some case of lost media bc of a mix of the amt of streams we can't recover, biased recaps, and the purges of dsmp-related accounts both on twt and tumblr. it is already hard for me to find streams unrelated to ctommy or cwilbur, and it doesn't help that a good percent of the analysis essay posts we've archived in dsmpanalysis have been completely deleted.

of course any person can experience any piece of media at any time but truly, the dsmp was something else when experienced live because it was a testament to the importance of perspective and individual choices on which story you wanted to follow. if it weren't for archiving projects and dedicated fans, the dsmp would have been perceived in such a one-sided way.

20% of the archived essays i've been sifting through have already heen deleted. a good portion of the fics i've bookmarked have been orphaned or deleted. besides the slight upset i feel about the story and the progress of the dsmp being deleted, i think i'm more upset about the complete decimation of fan content. it's like, i get why they deleted their stuff— the dsmp has its fair share of controversy— but what made the dsmp fun and worthwhile was the fan creativity.

and now a good percentage of that is gone. i don't hope to doompost about anything because i don't rlly think the fandom is going anywhere. but it is definitely a shock to me how much history of the dsmp has completely disappeared just in the span of 2 years.

Haven’t been here for months, I still miss the dsmp, I wish I could turn back time, I wish I could live in 2020 forever, watching dsmp streams all day, watching technos videos for the first time, probably would have spent less time in toxic blogs
