My loved one with cancer who I've been taking care of and I just got out of her oncology appointment. She starts chemo in two days. We are barely surviving as it is, I've missed so much work taking care of her, and chemo comes with a lot of expenses, actual chemo aside just the trips back and forth from the clinic are adding up. Literally anything helps us keep stable through this. Her insurance keeps denying these lifesaving procedures, and we are fighting to get them to cover her chemo, so this is really dire.

I have an art blog, @theartistrans (examples below, alongside proof of situation) I have a patreon where you can subscribe for art stuff and a kofi where you can leave tips. She has a gfm, but I also have links below bc they take a chunk out for their own profit. Anything given offsite will be charted on gfm. Dm for more proof or details. They think this is highly curable, but like any cancer, she won't make it without treatment.

Her appt is in about an hour, no progress on this since it was posted, I've edited the above bc some of the links hadn't saved before.

I've gotten about 6 hours of sleep in the past 3 days. This has no progress yet, but her chemo appt went fine without any major reactions. We don't have enough gas to get to her appointment tomorrow, so it'd be a huge help if we made any progress at all on this.

$110 received since this was posted. Her next chemo appt is in a couple days insurance isn't going to cover part of this one, but will cover the rest. Will update if anything changes. They're still trying to deny her coverage altogether. We do not current have enough to cover immediately upcoming needs.

People are dying not just from bombs, but from starvation. This is real. This is now.

How long? How long will we be treated as if we don’t exist? We don’t want pity we just want to live. To breathe, to eat, to sleep without fear, without warplanes, without bodies, without tears.
