jessica jung was most entirely an informant when it came to the pool rules. things were always in tip top pristine shape, they always had been during her reign as life guard, and she assumed for as long she worked at the institute, it would remain as such. she had done a good job of updating the rules regularly, switching the formatting on account of lim’s offense taken toward the notion of no peeing in the pool, and ( strangely enough ) they had come out to look more as commandments then simple guidelines.
she did reserve the right to turn anyone who disobeyed them into an icicle as well. which, over her term as lifeguard, had yet to happen ( she might have been anticipating her chance ). jessica jung didn’t give chances, she gave out morals. if you broke those morals, you were incompetent and deserved to be punished. no one had given her the opportunity to turn them into a mutant-pop, but she had most definitely banished students from ever attending the indoor pool again. mostly due to rough housing during swim class. genuinely, she couldn’t find the logic behind acting so stupid.
school was not to be taken lightly, even in such a carefree environment — she expected tip top behavior from students and faculty alike, and when met with disappointing remarks, she generally shut off all form of contact from the accused, showing them just how much she really did dislike the notion of immorality ( and how uptight she was ).
3am was a time of restlessness for jessica. it meant unnerving ideas and questions, the subconscious becoming reality as all thoughts tucked away for the day began to resurface when given the chance of pure uninterrupted silence ; silence from the busy world, silence from classes, silence from life. generally, all were ignored, yet on that particular night they were tenfold as imposing. and soforth, the woman exited her room, patrolling the halls - idly searching for any students who may or may not have been scouting the halls after hours. yet to no avail, as the corridors proved just as empty as her own personal realm of wonder.
to further her distractions, jessica, still clad in her swim clothes from the day before, made her way downstairs and toward the indoor pool. if anyone asked, she would say she couldn’t sleep and that was the truth. nothing better to help her relax than a late night swim.
the pool was warm, the chlorine fumes familiar and intoxicating. she unzipped her track jacket and hung it near the door, allowing the entrance to shut behind her. although, in such a memorization of environment and atmosphere, the woman immediately noticed something different in the confinements of her kingdom. her bear feet padded along the tile, dampness reverberating against a conflicting sound. she had nearly missed the trail of clothing left about the floor before finding a figure to have already been utilizing the pool.
her eyebrow quirked — she nearly stumbled back a step in such surprise. dear lord, was the intruder not wearing any clothes? …there was a person, stark naked in her pool. without bothering to catch their attention before riling herself up to speak, jessica clenched her fists and made a point out of angry expression. “um, excuse me — you realize it’s way past curfew and you are not allowed to be in here. i’m going to have to ask you to exit the pool, reclaim your clothes, and head back to your room immediately before i call for your expulsion.”
it was only right of her to assume this person was a student.
