USE YOUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
I will try to get on that soon! Thanks for the reminder!
Unfortunately, I don't have a webcam to use right now. I'll try to get one, or I should be getting a macbook in the near future so then y'all will get to see my face a lot more often :)

Spring Break Jitters
Spring Break is around the corner!!! Exciting right?! Personally, I cannot wait to escape from everything going on in my life. I'm going to Costa Rica, will have no access to my phone or internet, and plan to spend my entire week tanning and learning to surf.
This much needed holiday should be a positive experience for everyone. So, why does the period leading up to it bring so much negativity? All I have heard since JANUARY is girls complaining about their "spring break diet".
Spring break shouldn't be such a source of self-consciousness. It should be about relaxing and having fun! Even if you are going somewhere with a big group of people.
Enjoy your time off! Give YOURSELF and your body a break!
I know for some of you, the idea of putting on a swimsuit is terrifying (trust me, I know). I was once to the point of tears around this time a couple years ago just thinking about it. As I was packing for my trip, I looked in the mirror and could only see faults. I felt like it was my fault: like I hadn't done enough, like I hadn't starved enough. This mindset is absolutely horrible for you. You need to be able to look in the mirror and realize that you have done it just right: you have kept your body healthy. And be proud of it!
Go celebrate your life and happiness! You're on vacation!
Stay strong. Stay healthy. Stay beautiful.

Not really a question, but i just wanted to say thanks for doing what you're doing. The world needs strong Christians to fight for what's right, and you are doing a wonderful job of it. Keep it up and God bless you. I don't have an account here or anything, i just stumbled upon this site while trying to find more ammo to fight anorexia at my school, and i found your site. Blessings.
Thank you so much! I honestly believe it is an important part of being Christian to take our sufferings and use them for good. I am so so happy to hear you are trying to help at your school, not many people are brave enough to put forth that work so thank you.
XOXO,Caroline
You cannot solve a problem until you acknowledge that you have one and accept responsibility for solving it.

Myth v. Fact
It's okay if I only do it for a couple of weeks...
MYTH!
There's always been the rumor floating around that eating disorders can be a form of dieting. That, my friends, is false. An eating disorder is not something you just "try out" to see if you'll lose weight! Eating disorders are serious illnesses that can lead to serious health problems or death. And even if someone does succeed in losing weight by restricting or purging for a few weeks, the weight will come right back after they return to their normal eating habits. The only way to effectively lose weight and keep that weight off is by healthy eating and regular exercise! xo, Ashlyn
EVELYN'S Favorite Thing This Week?
The Appalachian Trail
I'm obsessed with the appalachian trail! It goes through 14 states and typically takes 7 months to get through and I want to do it so damn bad. I'm planning to do it the summer after my first year of college, but right now that's just a dream. I've also started preparing by walking my dog, Weena (that was a joke by the way). Anyways, even if it is just a dream, it's nice to have a goal to work towards. So wish me luck!

Eat well
One of the best things you can do for yourself is to keep your body feeling great!
Diet and exercise are proven to affect your happiness, so why would you ignore them? If you don’t keep your body well nourished it will fight back at you. Your energy is drained. With no energy, how can you enjoy the world around you?
Make a pact to yourself that despite how bad you may feel and despite all the temptation there may be, you will keep your diet in control. Remember that there are proteins and vegetables to be eaten, not just cookies and pie. Also, try to get out and exercise a little. It’s easy to fall into the lazy, sluggish mood of holiday breaks—but remember your body still deserves some respect. Force yourself to get out and do something good for yourself! For example, I’m signed up to run in a 5 mile race on Thanksgiving. My city has hosted the “Turkey Trot” for years but I was always too lazy to go for it. This year, I’m changing that.
Take some initiative over yourself and do what is good for you. Resist temptation to stay on the couch. Resist temptations to overeat or starve. Resist all the bad and let in the good and you will find it so much easier to stay upbeat this holiday season!

Avoid alcohol
We all know that alcohol has made its place in the holiday season. Eggnog, champagne, wine, you name it--alcohol has become a holiday tradition. And alcohol is great--if you're at or over your country's legal drinking age, or with your family. But too much alcohol can make you gain weight like crazy. A drink here and there with dinner is fine, if you're staying sober, but the calories from alcohol cause a lot of weight gain. The key to staying upbeat this holiday? Avoid alcohol! You'll be much healthier and happier without it. xo, Ashlyn
Nutella Mug Cake
Everyone on Tumblr knows that anything with Nutella in it is fantastic. It's just how life works. Here's an easy recipe for Nutella mug cake!
INGREDIENTS: 4 tablespoons self-rising flour 4 tablespoons sugar 1 egg 3 tablespoons cocoa powder 3 tablespoons Nutella 3 tablespoons milk 3 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil.
Combine all ingredients in a large coffee mug. Whisk well with a fork until smooth. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 – 3 minutes. Top with whipped cream and/or chocolate sauce if you want that extra sweetness and enjoy! :)
