hospital meme
“ george is in the hospital. ”
that was the last thing eric had heard his mother say before he was out the door. he didn’t stop when his dad called after him, or when cory yelled to ask if he could ride with him. all he could think about was mr. feeny as he jumped into his rusty old car, and made his way towards the hospital.
his car barely made it to the parking lot, and as soon as he shut off the engine, he was out the door and all but sprinting towards the main building of the hospital. there was not an ounce of humorin him as he got to the front desk, trying to calm himself as he askedthe nurse where mr. feeny’s room was.
seeing mr. feeny unconscious and hooked up to a bunch of machines(none of which eric really had any understanding of) hit eric hard.he swallowed hard as he made his way to feeny’s side, slumping down into the chair at feeny’s bedside.
“ this isn’t supposed to be happening. ” eric said with a a sigh. “ mr. feeny is not supposed to be in the hospital. cory and shawn still need you, feeny. i still need you. there’s no way i can graduate without you. and that’s because you’re—-you’re the only one who believes in me, feeny. ”
eric blinked back tears as he took a deep breath.
“ i’m not ready to let you go, feeny. ”
