OFFICIAL HIATUS NOTICE 10/14

We’re sure you’ve noticed our absence here lately, and we really hate to have to go on another hiatus when we’ve had so little updates this year. But we have to post this for now.

Why? Life has a way of happening, as you often hear. Both Ann, and I, work full time right now at jobs out of town for us. It hasn’t done us any favors in terms of energy, or time. I have some other mental health-related issues, that I’d prefer not to delve into here- but they are affecting me. Among this all, we have other various situations come and go.

How long will this hiatus go? Unfortunately, we don’t know. We’re not quitting the comic, and we’ll still be planning work for it in the interim. I have plans to apply to artist alley booths for the comic. We may try to build a buffer of pages so the next time life crops up, we can keep chugging along. GMSS is so important to both of us, and we’re hoping it won’t be a long time before we’re up and running again.

You said you’ll still be doing work for the comic? Absolutely! You can visit Ann at her art blog @ann-chovi, and Rune at her art blog @pastelrunes to keep an eye on our stuff! We both answer character asks there, draw snippets of character interactions, and various other GMSS (and other) goodies there. Both of us will be open for commissions shortly, and we’ll be posting any prints, or plans for merch on those blogs! We’ll reblog things here, too, of course.

Will you answer things addressed to this blog? Yes!! Please feel free to send us asks here- about the comic, or the characters, or just to say hello! We’re more than happy to talk about things!! And please, feel free to still promote this comic if you like it! We’re on hiatus, not quitting- we’ll be back for sure! We just don’t want to leave you in the dark.

Any other questions? Please ask us! Ann or I will be glad to answer them! And thank you all so, so, so much for the love GMSS has gotten! We’re really glad to be able to share this work with you, and we really hope this hiatus can be a short one.

WE’RE STILL HERE

Ann here! Just wanted to pop in with a teeny tiny update and apologies~ :’D

The last month or so was incredibly hectic for the two of us- deadlines for other projects, traveling across the state AND across the country to visit family, etc. Unfortunately, in all of the hub bub, we REALLY let GMSS get away from us. BUT!!! We’re FINALLY done with travel for a WHILE, and can finally fall back into a schedule that works for us to get back to this, our favorite project! :DDD We’re going to take just a couple of more days to lay up and rest a little, but you can absolutely expect a new page a week from today! (It’s already halfway inked!)

So, tl;dr: we’ve fallen off the horse, and are sorry for leaving you hanging- updates resume Monday, May 15, 2017!

And I just... thank you. So much. Those of you who have stuck around, new followers, folks who have left comments or shared it with friends- we really appreciate it. This thing is our baby and we’re both just so excited to share it with you all and are just so glad it’s being so well received. Your support really helps us keep going~
