Okay, new blog name, new Intro Pinned!

Hello, this is the blog formerly known as not-the-coffee-machine4.

I created this side-blog for my Queen ramblings so I don’t have to worry about annoying people by posting about it on main

I love and respect all the members—as well as Adam and their current backing band (Spike, Neil and Tyler)—and am just here to have fun. This is not the place for shipping the guys. Not a DNI, just an FYI

I do my very best to credit people, reblog/provide sources and not spread around fake things and misinformation which I feel is rampant in this fandom. I am, however, human, so please tell me if I miss something! (With the name-change I’m also gonna be updating any now-broken links to my blog that I put in previous posts as I find them, so stuff isn’t just gone)

I do occasionally talk about non-Queen music on here such as Elton John, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, and others. Any of that is tagged accordingly 

Despite my prolific usage of “y’all,” I am from the Midwest haha

I was just listening to Funny How Love Is and it struck me how, lyrically speaking, it's actually one of the sweetest and most beautiful songs. I don't know, I was just particularly hit by it (and the more 'simple' imagery of 'running home in time for tea' and whatnot). I feel like if I were to choose a Queen song for a wedding it'd probably be that one.

Honestly I don't even know the point of this ask beyond wanting to share lol.

“For most of the year at Ferry Road Freddie and Roger shared the large bedroom at the front of the house. Denise: Ferry Road was very chintzy and well-decorated so we didn’t put up posters in the communal areas. Fred and Roger when they had that front room put up posters in their room like the view of Earth from the Moon, though and probably Hendrix posters and that kind of thing. When we first moved in, Pat and I had that room, but at one point we swapped ‘round. It was quieter at the other end of the house. Except one morning at about 8 o’clock when Roger came through saying ‘wake up you slags it’s 12 o’clock!’ We were maniacally scootering around until we realised the time was completely different. We were all having to get up at unearthly hours in order to get in for 9 o’clock lectures.”
