This young father & old friend, yesterday, recorded the FASTEST EVER time for an Ironman on Australian soil. 👊🏻⚡️Less than 2 months after a bitterly disappointing DNF at #Kona, @lukemckenzie showed incredible guts to bounce back (a term that makes it sound a far shorter journey than it would have been) in the form of a rock solid swim, a #CourseRecord bike leg, backed up by a smoking hot #marathon. Mate, physical toughness & athleticism aside, the strength of character & determination this effort would've required is unfathomable. You sir, are a bloody legend.
