His words bring a slight flush to her cheeks and she can't help but smile. Even in the times that she had been convinced to fear him, he was still ever-alluring. These days, she had come to terms that while he had done some terrible things, even to those that she'd loved, he hadn't been the villain in her story. She had seen the good in him and she couldn't turn away from that.

❝I think if given the opportunity, despite how much I love the life I have now, and how much I love my girls, I might have just gone with you willingly. And that's a terrifying thought,❞ she admitted. ❝I came for you once, but you weren't there. It was... jarring, but I understand now that you were otherwise occupied.❞

Caroline, is incredibly good at keeping people busy.

Does it absolutely terrify Lizzy, to know that Caroline will be the one who talks her into doing something productive? Yes of course, for as much as Lizzy has the stamina to carry out an inordinate amount of tasks, she enjoys her down time so much. She loves to be busy doing nothing.

But there's Care, laying hardly an ounce of pressure on her shoulders to help, and somehow she still wants to. She deserves it.

"Today, I am all yours. Point me in the direction of the goal, and I'm on it. Like a bloodhound."

Caroline didn't always ask for help, often too stubborn in her ways to admit that she needed it. Still, the tasks that she had to get done required more of a team than just one person, and if Lizzy was willing, she would ask for help.
