the thing about adulthood is when someone says something extremely rude to you, you can either turn the other cheek or calmly & firmly correct them. The third option is to tell them “say that again, I’ll bite you” & everyone sort of nervously laughs and tries to move on from your little joke. Which is why I think it’s very important that when they do say it again you follow through. Nobody actually expects you to bite them. We should be biting more. Also if you’re with the county health department do not read thi s post
animals are so right about nuzzling your face into things
afraid of what my future uni colleagues will say when i inevitably bark at them on accident
As someone who is An Adult With A Job.... if your coworkers have any ounce of humor, they'll actually like it. I have a coworker who makes spot-on crow sounds, another who meows when they're startled, another who barks and grumbles, and most of us will copy each other's funny noises! We get stuck in a meow loop at least once a week.
If you have coworkers around the teen-30s age range, it will most likely come across as funny and cute, as opposed to weird or annoying. Older coworkers are a little more of a mixed bag, but I've never met any who downright dislike my many weird noises.
i'm curious, because when i go through shifts there are times i feel more feral, and there are times where my body feels more anthropomorphic (or human-like) almost like a fursona (scalesona?) of a crocodile.
so.. how do you see yourself or feel comfortable when shifting
fully feral / animal (on all four paws, really)
upright animal (like an animal awkwardly standing)
digitigrade (walking with the soles of the feet)
plantigrade (fully, comfortably standing animal,
feeling almost totally human
changes between shift type / intensity
nonshifting
secret eighth thing (rb?)
rb for exposure! i'm very curious about how others interpret their bodies during shifts
Hello fellow horse! :) My name is Autumn Trees, but you may call me Autumn. I'm a frisian horse and seeing you pop up in our notifs made me enter the front. I've never talked to another horse before, I am quite excited! :)

Hi, nice to meet you! I love to see fresians, y'all are so pretty ✨️
The most beautiful moose in all the land! This rare piebald was spotted near Falher, Alberta in Canada. Check out those eyes!

conlang profile for primal (not much info)
a different conlang (lemuric) loosely based on primal
a badge featuring both primal and lemuric
another conlang that takes some inspiration from primal
unfortunately it seems like most information on primal has been lost to time. there's nothing on tumblr or youtube for it, and the only posts on reddit are asking where to learn more about it, usually getting directed to the wikifur page or the partial archived website.
i'm not sure that there's currently a way to learn primal unless someone can get their hands of one of the books, which i assume are long out of print and pretty rare. if anyone owns this book or knows someone who does, i'm sure folks would love access to a digital scanned copy!!
@who-is-page were you the one who was interested in the Rare Books, or are we mixing you up with someone else? 😭
I'm interested in rare books but I think you're mixing me up with someone else! (Tho this post is still super cool)

Horse Thing of the week: I keep snorting and it's starting to get annoying. Cut that out, me! No one understands your Horse Noises!
i love having adult horse girl friends. I’ll send them a 100x100px crunchy ass jpeg of a random brown horse and be like “thought of u🐴” and I can literally feel their sims relationship bar fill up in real time
Rly felt compelled to capture this before bed
