This song is about the fleeting nature of your place in life. The bad times rarely last, but also neither do the good times. The stress we associate with every decision is often unwarranted. The sun will continue to rise the next day regardless of whether you perfectly nail the task at hand or end up making some missteps. At least, that is, until one day when it won’t anymore. Alive and Well is an anthem to lean in to the moments that bring you joy. At the end of it all, the old adage of “life is short, have fun” is perhaps the most valuable piece of advice anyone can receive. You only have so much time to learn, love, and live. Do you.
