Remembering Sergei...
16 years ago today, Sergei Grinkov passed away. He was one half of the legendary pair skating team, often referred to as G&G. That team was Sergei, and his lifetime partner since the ages of 11 and 15, Ekaterina Gordeeva, also known as Katia. Sergei and Ekaterina, through their years together, not only took the pair skating world by storm, but fell in love, married, and had a child together. They were gracious enough to share their love with us through their skating.
Below is a video I've dedicated to Sergei. It is about how no matter how many years pass, Sergei will be remembered and loved by Ekaterina, and his fans.
