Does Gore feel strongly about having BO or does he just talk about it for the sake of talking XD. I like the layer of realism, but, for curiosity's sake I wanted to ask

I mean, he's a very clean guy. Every night at camp he washes off and lets his hair down. You can see this in game. But think about it from the perspective of a guy who is 1) wearing heavy armor 2) carrying a lot of shit 3) constantly fighting 4) constantly JOGGING everywhere 5) outdoors and in crypts and shit all day like I hate to break it to you. I really do. But your character doesn't smell great either. You can headcanon that they do, go for it. Please do whatever makes you happy. But they stink. Let's be fr.

I just wanted to say that Gore makes the world of skyrim feel really, really immersive where it otherwise lacks.

I noticed it because I was roaming around in survival mode instead of fast traveling, exploring aimlessly, and Gore would make comments or say something witty about the name of a place. It honestly brought the exploration to life for me in a big way.

I also love, love, love that you can ask Gore what he's thinking and occasionally get comments about what he thinks of the city you're in. I guess, mechanically, he does kind of follow the player character around, but it doesn't feel so much like it because of the amount he can talk about the world instead of just repeating "man, your crap is heavy" every 5 minutes.

hows gore x owlc0da going?

Gore x Owlc0da is not really going to work until Glenmoril is finished. I've looked into, past, and beyond all of the planned endings, and I have a plan for each of them. They will directly affect his performance in the sequel, Unslaad. So, as of right now, releasing it before Glenmoril finishes is kind of out of the question, as it won't really make sense... and his story, throughout, is continuous. So I need to wait on it to release. Right now I'm not really working on shit, honestly. My server kind of went off the rails so I deleted it. Other mods in a similar vein to mine get way more endorsements. Most of the comments I get on the nexus are people struggling with bugs that have nothing to do with my mod, or backhanded compliments where 1% of the comment is "i like the mod" and 99% is "you should change this" or "you should add this." I miss my discord server, because i liked talking to people there, but out of all the people I've met through this mod, only one of them still talks to me, really. Here and there with others. Anything else I work on with the mod is going to cost me money for voice actors. In short, I just don't really feel like I'm getting anything out of this, even endorsements, when that's the only thing I have ever asked for. Right now, the mod is in a great place with no discernible bugs I can see. I've even made workarounds for stuff like the Pate scene getting interrupted. It's pretty much feature complete. I suppose I could suffer through playing the mages guild and dawnguard to make a detailed integration, but I don't really see the point. Mod is fine how it is. I'm not getting anything out of working on it at this point, and I've lowkey lost interest. At the end of the day, what people want most is interactions with other followers, and I have tried to do that, it just never works out. I cant count how many times I've been asked for Lucien and Inigo interactions. You know, if I could I would. Not possible though. The mod is really, quite honestly, fine how it is, and I'm proud of it. I just can't see myself getting the motivation to open the creation kit and work on it any time soon, unless Glenmoril gets finished. I really want to tell that story. But that's probably the last you're gonna hear from me as far as mod updates go. I've quit modding before. I've definitely had my fair share of unfair shit thrown at me, even the recent stuff. But even amidst all of that I still wanted to work on the mod. This time I just don't. And I don't know if that'll change, maybe. As of right now, I doubt it.

generally i think he prefers just having it down, like at camp, but it gets in the way when hes out and about.

What was your favourite to write, if they're different?

I generally put a lot of effort into the main quest. It has more interactions than any other. There are 14 alone in Bleak Falls Barrow. It's my fav to work on.

I love that you’ve made Gore ACT like someone his age would, I think you really nailed the concept of someone who is both too mature due to childhood trauma but also confined by the limitations of a 19-20 year old brain. I’m curious how you think his personality would develop as a grown man (30s maybe?) and how his relationship with the Dragonborn would evolve, both romanced and friendship routes?

Thanks! I had a good model to base it off of, myself, lmao. Gore is loosely based on me when I came back from Iraq at 19 years old. I think he would in general calm down a bit more, but still have a temper. I think he would be a bit more cautious about displaying his emotions. I think he would look back on current Gore and cringe a bit. I still think he would be a good partner and friend, and I think specifically he wouldn't be so gun shy about physical touch. Mostly I just think he would calm down a lot. Gore is very emotional. i think physically he would fill out a little bit more, and be able to grow a full beard, but probably wouldnt. maybe once to try it out. maybe another time because he was just going through it. but most of the time, nah. i think he'd fill out a bit more and maybe have a belly even, if he gets to finally relax and live in a lodge and go hunting for whatever food he wants. but he would be happy! because i also think he would do the work he needs to do to sort himself out.
