“Holy shit. It’s a nice day.”
“It is a very nice day.”
So spring is here.
Bout time too.
“Doesn’t mean you should walk around shirtless.”
“It’s going to be big, promise.”
“Um. What?”
Smiling softly, she leaned back against the bench. “Well, you’re a natural. I’m Oogie by the way.”
“Tuck. Oogie is a different kind of name,” he said while he packed everything up.
"I quiet like my name." She crossed her legs as she looked around. "Nice to meet you, Tuck."
“He left…that son a bitch left me here alone.”
"You still have me here."
Tuck sat his guitar down next to him when he finished. “Thank you! My mother taught me how to play when I was younger.”
Smiling softly, she leaned back against the bench. “Well, you’re a natural. I’m Oogie by the way.”
Tuck concentrated on the guitar strings as he sang and smiled. He loved this song and it was one he could play in his sleep.
Oogie listened to him, only speaking when the song was done. “You’re rather talented.”
She shrugged, sitting down beside him. “That would work.”
Tuck hummed a few notes as he tuned before settling down to play.
Smiling softly, she gently swayed along with the music.
"Something slow or Halloweenish."
“I…I don’t know any Halloween songs. Would something slow be okay?”
She shrugged, sitting down beside him. "That would work."
“So…do you have any requests?”
"Something slow or Halloweenish."
Stitched Together || Sally & Oogie
Sally appreciated the refill as she again gulped the beverage down. “But…” she averted her gaze feeling vulnerable and embarrassed. “I don’t want anyone else…I don’t even like anyone else… he probably likes Zero.” She almost spat the name but even in heartbreak Sally was too sweet.
Frowning, she gave the other girl a gentle squeeze on her arm to reassure her that she was there. “Well, you may not now, but i’m sure you’ll find someone who will actually love you back. I mean, all it seems like he did was string you along and play you..you don’t deserve that, Sally.”
Stitched Together || Sally & Oogie
Snatching the glass, Sally immediately gulped half of it down before laughing curtly. “I basically told Jack I loved him and…and he doesn’t feel…the same.” By the end of her sentence her voice was barely a whisper it had gone so soft.
Frowning, she gently rested a hand on Sally’s arm before refilling her glass. “Boys are stupid. Don’t let him get you so down. You deserve ten times better then him.”
Stitched Together || Sally & Oogie
Sally had no reason to think Oogie’s concern wasn’t genuine. She gladly accepted the offered tissues. Dabbing at her eyes with one before answering. “…I just ruined my life is all.”
Popping open the bottle of wine, she filled the two glasses and offered one to Sally. “Darling, I doubt you’ve done that. Tell me, what exactly happened?”
Stitched Together || Sally & Oogie
Sally stares at the tv, her mind drifting back on that conversation. Always going back to that damn conversation and how she made a fool of herself. Tears welled up in her eyes before she could stop them and she swiped at her eyes furiously.
Doing her best to look concerned when she saw her wiping at her tears, Oogie grabbed the box of tissues and handed them to her. “What happened? You never told me why you’re so down.” She sat on the other end of the couch, her knees tucked up to her chest.

Sally smiles softly finally and nods her head lightly, bleached hair hitting her cheek gently. “Okay…” She lays her clothes on a nearby table before heading for the couch and perching atop of it. “Can you just bring me a bottle?”
“Mhm.” Grabbing a couple spoons, two wine glasses and the bottle, she juggled them to the table and set them down before going back for the ice cream.
Stitched Together || Sally & Oogie
Once the door was closed Sally slowly undressed. Revealing each deliberate mark she had placed to her body. She slipped the soft heavenly feeling pajamas on. She then padded out to the living room clutching her clothes to her chest. She stood there an just watched the older woman.
Oogie was in the process of pulling out some ice cream from the fridge when she saw Sally. “They fit great! Go ahead and make yourself at home, there’s plenty of soft things on the couch. Do you want some wine or something with the ice cream?”
Stitched Together || Sally & Oogie
Sally tried to return the smile but her lips just wouldn’t cooperate and finally she gave up. She followed behind the other girl closely. “Thank you…” She stood in the bathroom awkwardly shuffling waiting for the dark haired female to vacate. Her shyness coming out.
Grabbing a hair tie from the counter, she nodded and closed the door before going to her room. So far this night was going smooth and perfect. Not bothering to close her own door, she quickly changed into a shirt that she had stolen from William some time ago, she slipped on a pair of shorts and knee high socks before going to get the living room ready with blankets, pillows and movies.
