Speaking as a Filipina American, myself, I can’t speak enough on how much his representation means to us. I’m 20 fucking years old and I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve seen a fellow pinoy as a leading character in mainstream media in my lifetime. 

If you’re not Filipino (or, by extension, Asian), sorry, but you don’t get to say he (or Bellamy) isn’t representation. 

Do you know how rare it is to see Asian males play lead roles in a show? Where Asian males are portrayed with masculinity and bravado like Bellamy in the 100?

Or how rare it is to see Asian males play open, LGBT characters like Bob did as Aiden in Neighbours?

You don’t like Bellamy, fine. Hell, I can see some of the logic behind that. You don’t like Bob, fine. You’re not obligated to. But don’t fucking even start with any BS talk that neither count towards any kind of representation. Because you’re goddamn full of it.   

I’ve just been in this fandom a long goddamn time, and I’m fed up with every single post of this nature that I’ve seen over recent years.
