Wikipedia excerpt: Set's attempts to prove his superiority [over Horus] include schemes of seduction, in which he compliments Horus on his buttocks and tries to anally penetrate him. THE blueprint for doomed toxic yaoi irl. An unending on-again off-again affair that spanned decades. Wilde wrote "The Picture of Dorian Grey" about him. Douglas was 19 years younger than Wilde & has been described as spoiled, reckless, insolent and extravagant. He would spend money on boys and gambling and expected Wilde to contribute to funding his tastes. Wilde nursed Douglas through spanish flu only to contract the disease himself. Douglas moved to the Grand Hotel and sent Wilde the bill on his 40th birthday. They often argued and broke up, but always reconciled. Douglas' father was eventually responsible for getting Wilde jailed for two years for his homosexuality. Indisputably iconic.
