Prayer to Osiris for a New Beginning

Hail to You, Wesir, Lord of the West,

Who grants the weary soul its rest.

Un-nefer, Ever-Good and True,

I place this new beginning before You.

As grain lies hidden in the earth,

You call it gently into birth.

Through silent depths and darkest night,

You lead all life again to light.

What has withered, let it cease;

What has burdened, grant release.

Let yesterday return to dust,

That tomorrow bloom through hope and trust.

Green Lord, whose heart knows every tide,

Be ever present at my side.

Where endings stand, let pathways grow,

Where shadows linger, let hope now flow.

Grant me courage to begin anew,

With steadfast heart and purpose true.

As You arose in strength once more,

Open for me a brighter door.

May every step be blessed by Ma’at,

May truth and balance guide my heart.

O Wesir, Lord of Life renewed,

Walk with me through beginnings new.
