listen ... my biggest regret of this interpretation of inuyasha is that i didn't give him ears and silver hair. but y'all just gotta trust me on this one ok. noah just has the perfect vibe for what i'm going for.

some things to note for ash's modern verse:

his dad is alive and is one of the biggest multi-billionaires in the world ( think microsoft/ amazon ). he's still a very powerful daiyokai and is currently separated from his first wife.

his mom is dead and was completely human.

ash was born out of wedlock and out of an affair between his mom and dad - the two of them were v in love but couldn't be together for obvious reasons. ash was then hidden from public eye and he grew up with only his mom as they barely made ends meet.

ash only reconnected with his father after his mom died. they have a very strained relationship.

sesshomaru and ash have a civil relationship built over years of trial and error.

ash is a mechanic and owns his own shop that he built from the ground up with his mother's inheritance.

he's a metalhead. are we surprised? no.

since ash is half-dog demon/ hanyou, he has the following traits: super sensitive hearing and sense of smell, healing takes far less time, super speed and strength, claws, fangs.

his eyes are a golden colour.

                                          [ 犬夜叉 ] † ;  𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗦  𝗔𝗥𝗘  𝗢𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗡  𝗔  𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗬  𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗗  𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧.  all  the  sounds  and  smells  often  have  the  hanyou  𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴  𝘁𝗼  𝗴𝗼  𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲  after  the  second  act.  but  tonight  is  different,  tonight's  a  new  moon.  there's  𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲  𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲  in  his  outward  appearance  save  for  darkened  eyes  and  lacking  claws  and  fangs,  but  the  dulled  hearing  and  sense  of  smell  allows  ash  to  𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆  𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆  𝗮  𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁  𝗼𝗳  𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰  for  once.  the  fact  that  he's  also  able  to  have  a  beer  and  feel  the  effects  is  a  plus.

                                         seeing  the  last  act  leave  the  stage,  ash  is  prepared  to  leave,  to  head  home  and  finish  off  the  new  moon  𝗶𝗻  𝗵𝗶𝘀  𝗼𝘄𝗻  𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲.  but  the  sound  of  an  arguement  catches  his  attention,  turning  to  look  over  his  shoulder.  brows  furrow  as  he  watches  that  final  performer  𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺  𝗼𝗳𝗳  in  his  direction;  with  one  brow  quirked  upwards,  ash  does  something  that  only  seems  to  happen  when  human  and  speak  without  being  spoken  to  first.

listen . . . ash is a complete slut ok. he hooks up all the time and sometimes barely remembers the name of the people he brings home. he makes it VERY clear that he doesn't want anything serious and that it's just a one night stand so everyone's aware. in short, he'll sleep with you but not much else.

ash constantly wears his hair like this i don't make the rules.

ash is very difficult to get to know. he's guarded and rude and lacks tact. he keeps people at an arms length at all times so it takes a lotttt of work to get to know him and even longer for him to let you in. however, once he does, he's the biggest fkn soft you've ever met. super attentive, tries his best to make you feel wanted and needed, protective as all hell. he'll struggle with voicing his feelings but he'll get there.

another thing about ash being hanyou is that he can't get drunk/high unless it's like ... specially curated for demons, then he can get fucked up. otherwise. stone sober. which is infuriating for him lmfao.
