Surprise! I somehow managed to write a SessKag fic in two days. This marks my first story for the pairing. Will there be more in the future? No idea. Will I expand this universe someday? Hmm...

In honor of your birthday, here is a sneak peek of a WIP I have going for you. Best friends-to-lovers, duh.
The Only Hope for Me is You (by My Chemical Romance, of course)
Inuyasha never really expected to fall in love with Kagome.
Which was pretty stupid, considering the fact that she was smart and funny and beautiful, even during her awkward phase.
He always smiled at the memories of the two of them at thirteen, when Kagome hit a growth spurt and was four inches taller than him for a year until he finally hit his own, eventually rounding out to be a solid six inches taller than her. On the day Inuyasha reached her height, she put on a pair of heels and laughed with a sassy, āNot yet.ā
As they grew up, Inuyasha watched as she grew into herself, as she went from long hair to short hair then back again. As she tried to figure out what she wanted to do with her life and what kind of person she wanted to be. Having the privilege of witnessing that wasnāt something Inuyasha took lightly.Ā
Kagome meant more to him than anything else in the world, but by the time he realized he was in love with her, his teenage doubt and anxiety kept him from telling her.
So he kept it quiet, letting it marinate in the back of his mind as he fell deeper in love with her every day.
here is a new story that i've been holding close for almost four years. i started writing it as an outlet for some things that happened to me, and i never got around to finishing it for a multitude of reasons.
i finally feel like i'm able to finish it, so here it is.
you can read You're Breathing Real Softly here. please heed all the tags.

hello! sorry to answer so late!
I'm trying very valiantly to pick up some WIP's that I started a long time ago and just never worked on further. I've been looking back over a royalty one that I have that I actually think I'll be able to start posting in the near future. plus my little Arizona story I just started posting.
life has been good, for the first time since...probably ever. I have a new job where my supervisors actually care about my well-being, and I live with my partner in a new town. lots of changes over the last six months, but they've been almost all positive.
my little cat child is almost five now! but her energy never seems to wane even as she approaches cat senior status.
no new special interests right now, which means my brain feels empty - any suggestions?
doing a little something this evening since itās been forever since i did an AMA. ask me anything, inbox is open now and iāll start answering questions at 9:30pm EST!
so i've decided to do something new that i have never done before with my writing.
i'm going to do some seat-of-my-pants writing (i.e. writing a story without planning too far ahead, which is how rumiko takahashi wrote inuyasha, if i remember correctly). i admire people who can do that, and it's something i want to try. so it'll be multi-chapter, writing what i want for each of them, then deciding where to go later.
for me, at least, i feel like it will take off the pressure to get everything fully-planned before posting. so i want to give it a go.
all the stories i have in the works right now are multi-chapter one of which i have been working on recently, coming at some point i promise
my goal is to have something posted today, so i hope i can deliver something good.

I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The first part of this was written during my first depressive episode after my diagnosis. The second part is two days after, and will be labeled as such.
I want to share some thoughts I had in case anyone can relate or would like to learn what itās like to have a bipolar episode.
During: It was an absolute shock when I was given the bipolar disorder diagnosis by my psychiatrist. I didnāt even realize she was screening me for bipolar until she diagnosed me with it. Once we started talking about my symptoms, my whole life started to finally make sense. All the depression, the inability to cope with things, the sleepless nights filled with either wanting to accomplish everything or being so down and depressed I could barely move were finally all identified as symptoms.
Iām on medication now, and itās truly changed my life. Not just for the bipolar - the medicine Iām on can also treat symptoms of ADHD, which I was diagnosed with a year ago.
So Iām feeling much better and my symptoms are being treated really well, but Iām sad.
Iām sad that no one, especially myself, caught onto the fact that it was what was going on. This is not to say it was the duty or expectation of anyone in my life to notice that. Itās just a small observation, and I mostly relate the not realizing to myself.
Iām sad because Iām terrified that the medicine will suddenly stop working and Iāll go back to how I was.
Iām sad because I have much better habits now and Iām more consistent in my actions along with just being more responsible of basic stuff like checking the weather, doing laundry, not crumpling into a depressed disaster every time something sets me off, but despite this - Iām constantly reminded every day of how I was.
Someone will make a joke about me not remembering to do something, or reminiscing on a time I dropped rhe ball about something, or when I āoverreactedā to something small and, at times, lost the whole day while I just tried to get back into my usual state.
Iām sad because it made me realize Iāve never not been depressed. There have been so many times that Iāve felt like I was finally past the lowest points and that it was only up from there, but that was never the case.
Iām sad because I spent so many years hating myself and thinking I was fake, hateful, and an overall awful person. I donāt feel that way anymore. I think of myself as a nice person now, who genuinely cares about people.
Iāve been on medication for almost a month now, and Iām in my first mini-depressive episode. It feels different - Iām able to actually write out my feelings instead of just numbly laying in my bed until I muster enough energy to get up. Iām still sad, but I donāt feel any of the self-hatred or internal voices telling me that Iām horrible and that no one loves me anymore because of how I am. I know Iāll be able to sleep tonight. Iām able to tell a loved one that I need to be hugged instead of hiding in the guest room waiting for my negative feelings to pass.
Two days later: That was the tamest depressive episode Iāve ever had. It was a drastically different experience to not be completely down and unable to move or function. I cried, told my partner how I was feeling, and wrote out my thoughts. Iāve never been able to do all three things in such a healthy manner.
Iāve only ever been able to hide away or lash out or go into an almost catatonic state. Itās such a comfort to know why this has happened, and I can actually recognize the cause of it instead of thinking Iām just depressed because something set me off.
I have a disorder, one that is being treated now. And I feel better than I ever have.
