What is an author without her friends? It's your favorite not at all boring married couple Roma and Anton here, and apparently we have nothing else more important to do with our lives than to sit down and read through every new development in this novel. If we’re going to read it all, you better believe we’ll need two things: a steady supply of wine and a place to talk about our feelings... and also definitely some popcorn.

Anyone you're shipping right now?

Oh, where to begin? Seth and Levi are a no-brainer, right? By now it seems pretty clear that they’re going to end up together and I’m on the edge of my seat for that. How is it that everyone knows they’re going to end up together and happy except those two? Then there’s Ama and Carter and that is an emotional roller-coaster itself. Two former enemies falling in love? It gets me every time. They look like they’re on the road to happiness and I’m hoping they’re going to keep going. I’ll just be over here with my tissues and pom-poms crying and cheering you guys on. When I need a break from all the emotions I stop to check in on what Chris and Angelo are doing. Honestly there’s nothing else I can say about them except that they might be too adorable for my heart to handle. But if you mean ones that don’t seem to be canon, I’ll admit that I’m secretly keeping an eye on Cecilia and Evan, mostly because I would just love to see the way her brother reacts to that. I know they haven’t interacted much, but this girl just loves her drama. Then again I ship everyone with everyone so no matter what happens, my heart will be happy.

Who do you think has the biggest secret?

Everyone in this Town seems to be keeping secrets from each other. I think they could all stand to be a bit more honest, or maybe that’s just my frustration talking. I keep telling myself there are only so many tears you can shed for fictional characters before another tragic backstory gets revealed and out comes the tissues again. If I had to pick, my money’s on Chris since she’s a little too sweet to be hiding nothing but not a peep from her about anything? Suspicious. We know she has issue with her mother but beyond that she doesn’t talk much about where she comes from. There’s got to be something dark lurking behind that pretty face but, honestly, isn’t there always? And then there’s Amalia. We haven’t heard that much about her life before Town either but I’m sure there’s something that made her the way she is. That kind of lack of trust in people has to come from somewhere, doesn’t it? I see what’s coming and I have my tissues ready and waiting for both of them so give me whatever you’ve got. I’m ready for it.

Opinions: Evan, Levi, Amandine.

Do you mean the DREAM team? Why aren’t those three together more often? I’ll have to include that in my notes... but individually?  Evan’s an interesting character. I can’t help but imagine he’s a chunky dude, even if the writing tells me otherwise. Seriously, how can you eat that much and not be a little hefty? At least his health issues later on can be blamed on everyone else in Town, since he never actually buys the food for himself. All that aside, I’m interested to see how he continues to develop with his mother, brother, and on his own. He’s got that heart in there, it’s showed a few times, and I’m ready for him to... cry his eyes out or something. As for Levi where do I start? He’s all over the place with his professor boo and Evan. Pick one, bud. You can’t keep dangling them both around. I’d like to know more about his parents deaths, and his relationship with his surprise sister. Also see him trick more people, because that’s always hilarious.  Amandine’s lovely. A doll. The best of the best... I might be afraid to say anything bad about her. I know she can’t come for me, but the fear still feels very real. I’ve always been rooting for her. ( #teamamandine ). I was worried she’d never get past stripping, since she’s been through a lot, and I was ready to jump in the book and strangle that goddamn ex of hers myself, but she’s really starting to take charge. Hopefully she keeps moving on to bigger and better things. Or maybe everything will come crumbling down again for the drama of it all. You never know.

Underappreciated characters?

I think the biggest problem with some of these characters is that they’re underrepresented so we don’t have enough time to appreciate them. I demand more Carter! He’s a literary heartthrob in the making and yet so criminally underused. A military man with a troubled past? I’m already sold, just give me more. Layla might a pretty new introduction but I could stand to see her in more plot points as we go through. I’m still waiting to hear more about how this transformation of hers happened. She’s such a doll yet I still don’t know much about her. That’s a cryin’ shame that is.

If we’re talking heartthrobs, Tom. Have mercy. It’s not every day that you see a cop written as charming as he is, but I’m ready to see if he has a tragic backstory behind it all. Cecilia is another one that hasn’t been focused on too much, but the sister of Levi? I didn’t see that coming. I need to know how she put up with him for so long, and how she ended up in Town in the first place. Sounds like she’s just a little low on cash, but who knows? Not us. Also, that plot twist with Elizabeth coming back? Blew my mind. I’m dying to see just how crazy she’s gone. Is she gonna start shooting everyone now? I need more.

I’m finally here. It’s the moment I’m sure you’ve all been waiting for, considering I’m this nameless novel’s number one fan (out of three, counting it’s own writer, but that’s unimportant ). I’ve read every page at least twice. So has Roma, who probably remembers a lot more than I do, but we’re both full of opinions that I’m sure you’re all just dying to hear, so send in questions for opinions on characters, couples, and anything else and we’ll be happy to share. Warning: hurt feelings ahead.. most of those hurt feelings being my very own.
