so i reached a super CRAZY milestone over the past couple weeks && i thought i should take a look at when i started my blog  ─ it was SO crazy to me  ─ && believe it or not as of today, i’ve been pluggin’ away on here for a whole 6 months !! i thought that warranted a bit of a thing-a-ling, so here we go !!

i should probably publicly acknowledge this somewhere and put it on my blog. my characterisation of talia is quite obviously far removed from that of new-52 talia, which is the only canonical verse where talia raised her son. for that reason i think its important to note that due to this and not acknowledging new-52 in my portrayal at all, her relationship with damian and perhaps even damian himself are very different from what we see in comics. what might seem ooc of them for you is what i deem in character for them following preboot portrayals and my own canon. hmu if you have any questions about this, especially damian. pls see this post and this post.

Imagine Bruce Wayne making the walk from the gates of the Wayne Estate at the foot of the Palisades forest not only the SAFEST haunted house experience in Gotham, but also the most rewarding. Bruce would hire a staff, production company, call all the Batkids to come help out, the works. He’d invite all the orphanages, the at-risk programs, bus them out of Gotham, and through the winding, sinuous road through the state park, as the sun is going down.

If you make it through the forest (there are two different entrances, for little kids and older kids) and actually make to the house, and then through he actual mansion, you’re greeted by free entrance to a fully catered event where everyone gets normal sized chocolate bars and free toys and an awesome kids-only party in the garden with whatever kid music sensation is popular.

Bruce Wayne is away on business, of course, and can’t attend, but he’s there in spirit.
