So, I've seen a few of these, but a lot of them seem to be guesses on how Adi Shankar is going to fuck up S2 somehow (which is impossible, DMC Netflix S2 is still DMC, and I love dmc in all forms), and so I decided to make my own, much more hopeful version!! I'm at the stage now where I don't care if it's a work or a shoot, it's an incredibly poorly done work or it's an egregious shoot that Jade needs to rectify with Rhea behind the scenes. Neither idea instills me with much excitement.

Also Rhea has every right to be mad. She gets accused of politicking and harassed enough as is when we know it isn’t true and that narrative finally started dying down with Mania, Evolution, summerslam losses and Rhiyo run. Now Jades enabling it all over again.

I'm gonna be real with ya'll. This exchange just made me like Rhea even more and Jade even less. Hope Jade can back it up in the ring because we know Rhea can… Also how is talking to creative for hours is supposed to be a bad thing. Especially from Jade who's best story creative-wise has been the one where she was injured for 80% of it, maybe Jade talking to creative could be good for her.

Jade is going to be very lucky if this doesn't end badly for her. It's one thing for Chelsea to not fuck with you, but Rhea matters more to WWE than all but three men.

The thing is, there are no winners here either way.

If it's a work, it isn't elevating their work, and just comes off awkward, and uncomfortable, and not in a "they have heat for their match" way.

If it isn't a work, then, well, sounds like all is not copacetic backstage and if it's bleeding over into shoot instead of kayfabe, that's not a good working environment for any of them.

Also, this is the second time in the WWE Women's Championship picture during the road to Wrestlemania where one of the participants goes into business for themselves. This isn't the first time she's tried to go into business for herself (see the Shayna stuff), but now she's trying it against one of the top stars in the company.

And honestly? Jade is giving very big Goldberg energy,

Take a wrestler who only has a look, can’t wrestle, can’t talk, can’t not injure people, who only wants to use it as a stepping stone to Hollywood and push them as a star ahead of people who can do all those things. Eventually the bottom falls out. The company has tried everything they could with her, it’s just not going to work and she’s not going to be a crossover star. My bet is after she drops that belt, she’s going to the mid card and then on her wait out the door.

She has been treated like a top star since her debut. Rumble, tag champ, queen of the ring, then champion. Even though she was and still is one of the worst wrestlers on the main roster. She has had 6 years to get better and I will admit she did but after 6 years and still where she’s at? She’s been protected since the beginning all bc of how she looks. Even after all that she apparently isn’t humble and doesn’t care about doing this long term. Give her place to someone more deserving like Iyo, Alexa, Chelsea or Charlotte.
