how did you build your account to this point? i take inspiration from you and hope to get to your standing 🩶🩵

Hi! I didn’t really put much thought into building my account tbh😅 I rarely log into this account (or use Tumblr in general), only to post something or reply to asks. I made this account to archive my asoiaf fanart, I didn’t expect to get attention…

I think the best way to build an art account is posting anything and everything! Any sketch you like, any rendered piece, just anything. Because there will always be people who will appreciate what you make! :)) Just follow your passion and it will take you where you will never expect!! And most importantly don’t forget to have fun!!

Who are your favorite female characters in asoiaf?

Honestly I like all of them, I just think of Catelyn, Asha, Jeyne Poole and Sansa more often then other female characters

Also lesser known characters like Alannys… Asoiaf ladies are always in my heart

In canon compliant au I hc them meeting at tavern in Wintertown (While Domeric was on his side quest to find for Ramsay ig). Domeric falls for Theon immediately while Theon ignores him because he thinks he is a weirdo (he is, he is Bolton after all)

Then I see them becoming friends, they exchange letters! Domeric tries to court Theon but Theon just doesn’t get it😭

Domeric is a sweet guy but he has some weird quirks to him (staring too long, a bit clingy, etc) and Theon is completely oblivious when it comes to men flirting with him so he just thinks Domeric is overly friendly

In modern au Theon sets preference om his tinder account for both men and women as bet then matches with Domeric… He explains to Domeric that he matched with him as a bet so they just become friends because they likes talking to each other but then Theon falls for Domeric too and they start dating ig😭

In your opinion, which character from the A Song of Ice and Fire series do you hate to draw and would never draw?

I'm starting to feel like you're going to draw a lot of the characters from that series, or maybe all of them.

Honestly I don’t have a character that I hate enough to the point not wanting to draw them😭 I may end up drawing everyone from asoiaf/akotsk/f&b if I stay in the fandom for long enough XD

Who are your favorite Ironborn, apart from Theon, Asha, and Alannys? Beyond those three, I really like Tristifer Botley and Rodrik Harlaw. Tristifer is so deeply in love with Asha that it almost feels bittersweet. he even gives up his lands just to follow her. It’s a shame his feelings aren’t returned (at least not yet 😏. But i ship them 🤭). Rodrik, on the other hand, stands out because he’s so different from the rest: he loves reading, dislikes fighting, and deeply cares about his niece Asha.

Qarl the Maid, Asha’s lover, is also a fascinating character. He was born in the Iron Islands, but his grandfather was a thrall, so he isn’t originally Ironborn by descent and comes from a background of captivity and enslavement. I can’t help but wonder what it must be like to grow up in a culture built on raiding and enslaving others, while also being the grandson of someone who was taken and enslaved.

Baelor Blacktyde is another intriguing figure. He converted to the Faith of the Seven and despises Balon for starting a war driven purely by ambition - a war that cost him his father (and Alannys her two eldest sons tbf).

That said, I’m fairly indifferent to Balon (I wish he had been a better father and loved Theon more) , Aeron (wish he had supported Asha more, instead of rejecting her as queen just because she is a woman) , and Euron ( he is basically a villain with no redeeming qualities, but his magic is interesting) despite their importance. can’t stand Victarion, though. he’s not interesting at all to me.

We need a whole spin off about Asha! Featuring her lovers of course. I like Tristifer’s little cousin a lot. Wex Pyke is like a child prodigy with Theon as his brother figure😭 They have an interesting dynamic. Dagmer seems cool too, basically Theon’s cool uncle :))

I wonder how Victarion’s mind works sometimes which is why I also find him interesting along with his brothers

All Ironborn characters are interesting to me to be fair🫣
