could you, uh . possibly elaborate on what being kin means to you? I feel I'm struggling with it I'm not sure about it but all I know is I really just very strongly feel connected to junkrat and can't shake the feeling. you seem kind and could maybe shed some light on what it means? if you don't want to answer that's ok too. have a nice day!
sure. i don’t exactly post much here these days, but i’ve got time for anyone who wants to understand kin stuff (pretty touched that you think i’m kind)
i’m kin with roadhog, yeah? in person, you probly wouldn’t guess that. i don’t look like him much, don’t act like him always. but there are signs, i guess. things that make you know that you resonate with somethin.
bein kin is different for ppl. w/ me it’s a deep-seated feeling. i can almost see myself doing what the person does in their story, or acting like them, or having that life. memories/feelings/attachments that aren’t my own, aren’t easy to explain. a strong connection can be all it takes to realize there’s a bond
i’ve had kins before where i thought i had it, but realized in that position i couldn’t see myself doing what they did… kin shit can be confusing.
some ppl see kin as reincarnation, some ppl see it as a coping thing, some ppl see it as a way of identifying or typing yourself.. for me it’s a little of all of it
can ya see yourself doing what rat would do? do you feel attached to him or the things he’s attached to? does it help you to identify with him, or does feel like you had those experiences somehow n get some kinda deja vu feeling?
it’s really up to you, how you see yourself and your kins. i’m not the most informed person on kin shit. all i know is feeling close to someone and not knowing why can be a good reason to look into it
