Not me currently laying in bed holding back tears because TikTok has been banned in the US. Most of the people I follow on TikTok are from the US and I would never have gotten the book recommendations I did from anywhere else.

I’m so sad that US people have just.. disappeared off my FYP, I’m sad and hurt for them. For the following they created, the friends they made.

TikTok brought so many people together, and it feels like a whole chapter has closed and I’ve not felt this sad and alone in a while 😫

Haven’t been able to read or game for a few days because I have been so unwell.

Since I was a teenager, I’ve always loved reading. When I had my first born, I trailed off reading and only found my love of reading two years ago when my best friend force fed me Haunting Adeline 😂 what a book to get me back into reading.

Safe to say, I’ve never looked back.

Granted, I don’t read as much as I used to, but I’m hoping with my kindle, I can read daily and read more books than the 22 I did this year ❤️

So I’m new to the whole posting on tumblr thing, so I am terrible with remembering it exists.

But I’m so grateful for the people I surround myself with. If this year has taught me anything, it’s don’t let people be negative with your dreams.

It was my dream for 20 years to move back to my hometown after I had to leave with my grandmother. She told me it would never happen. As of October 5th 2024, that dream became a reality. And I have never been happier.

So don’t give up on your dreams - keep dreaming, and keep being you ❤️
