That’s a classic “Malignant Victorian Ghost” type Gerard, not at all a “Helpless Princess-Turned-Prisoner” type and certainly not a “Final Girl in a B-Grade Horror Movie” type. Hey, but don’t feel bad! She has a lot of variations and they can be difficult to tell apart, especially when you’re new to this sort of thing. Look, right here for example… While the hair and makeup absolutely allude to the classic “Tragic 1920s Starlet Destined to Die Young” type Gerard (often confused with “Victim of the System” or the rarer “Pre-War Berlin Heartthrob”), closer inspection reveals that this variation actually leans more towards the “Girl Outside a Dive Bar Who is Secretly a Vampire” type. Yeah! It’s a common misconception that the vampirism-subset of Gerard-typings is reserved strictly for the Revenge era red eye makeup + black suit red tie, but really there’s a lot more depth.
