Fans of Jetko and Jinko, I have a question:

Do you know of any fics for your ship where part of the conflict stems from Zuko being Fire Nation Royalty or his Uncle being the general who (negatively) shaped his partner’s lives is a major obstacle?

Not his partner at all but mostly Zuko himself has some kind of internal struggle for being part of the fire nation, its in this fic in ao3 called "sweet and ginseng", here we find ministories of the Daily live of Zuko in ba sing se, at some point he realises that he has lost part of his essence since he cannot be doing what common fire nation members would do because it could be Deadly for him, I personally liked how the author described that feeling, also this is a jinko story

Ok... so has anybody ever thought about why Steven's gem is specifically in his belly button? Not only because it was the same spot as Rose but because of something else, like it was the last part that touched Rose. We all know that our belly button is a scar leaved by our umbilical cord, so when Steven was born and they cut that thing off the gem placed there because it was the last physical contact that Steven had with his mother...
