This final season of The Boys continues to be so terrible. After episode 4, I haven't even been watching episodes anymore. Just watching clips with me being left baffled, disappointed and angry.
I've got negative funds in my bank and I need to start saving for moving soon. I've been bending over backwards to find work, commissions, sell merch etc and nothing has been fruitful. Opening up a general donation link:

Ugh, is how I'm feeling about this final season of The Boys what Stranger Things and Supernatural fans sent through for their final season? This season promised shock and awe! Blood and bone! Scorched Earth! But none of that is happening! Instead they've been doing a pointless fetch quest for Homelander to achieve immortality in order for the stakes to be raised even though the stakes were already perfectly high due to the S4 finale. They also completely walk back on Butcher tossing away his humanity. And key not forget how they're using season 5 to set up a Soldier Boy spin off rather then roping in the cast from Gen V!
I think one of my problems with season 5 of The Boys is the decision to make a whole storyline of Homelander trying to achieve immortality. It feels like the show is trying to raise the stakes, but they didn't need to as Homelander taking over America was already doing that.
Kumugi is labeled as the normal one of Team Descarass, but she's definitely a little crazy herself since she chooses to remain on the team.

I'm going to be honest. All this controversy I've been seeing about the Magikeepers is dumb as it's clear that Nishi is clearly going to be addressing things like misogyny, conservativism and gender norms. I've been seeing so many bad takes and folks jumping to the worse conclusions.
These conservative type characters will always tick me off cause their logic makes no sense. The literal fate of the world is at stake but they'll go "Doing X goes against tradition." What good is your backwards tradition going to do if the entire world is destroyed???
