WONG !
It would have been so easy to open a portal, except for the small problem that he couldn’t open a portal to a place that he couldn’t envision. So… it was back to trying to lift debris and move it aside, except that that ran the risk of shifting other things and making them collapse.
If Stephen had been here, Wong would almost have been tempted to ask him to use the Time Stone to freeze time - but even for something like this, even with this many lives at stake, it was still dangerous to use that much magic.
He paused when someone actually replied. “Hang on,” he said, weaving a spell to pinpoint them – except that before he could do that, the idiot started moving.
“I told you don’t move,” he said in exasperation. However, when he saw the metal hand - he paused, and stared. “Alright. Can I assume that you’re the owner of that hand? You’re not an iron man imitator, are you?” Summoning magic, he carefully started to shift the debris around it. “Tell me if I’m making anything worse.”
“sorry,” bucky replied sheepishly, stopping his movement now as he was told. the pain sucked. he was fairly certain that something had fallen on his head at some point, and though he was still conscious, his head hurt like hell. almost as much as his arm did, but not quite. it was getting there, though.
“yes -- that’s my hand.” he replied, watching as the rubble shifted around. hearing the iron man imitator comment, he sighed and rolled his eyes. “no,” he huffed. “i’ve had a metal arm since the 40′s. long before he was even born.” he had to hold back the urge to roll his eyes again, just at the very idea of it.
as debris continued to move, he shifted out of the way as something fell. “there’s no way you could do this faster?” he called out, though part of him figured it was a dumb question to ask. “something fell, but i’m fine. the sooner i get the hell out of the rubble, the better. have you found anyone else yet?”
