Vision for 2013 in YWAM-Paisley
Paisley is a town located just outside of Glasgow (largest city in Scotland). The timing of my move to Paisley coincided with a major transition of staff and leaders at the YWAM Base. Meaning the base is in a process of being reshaped and formed into something brand new and quite exciting! As a community we are focused on living a Kingdom based life weaving in a focus on the Culture of Honour (teachings out of Bethel Church) so that we can reflect a Christ centred lifestyle in our community and in Paisley. Currently we are a small staff team of ten adults (five of which live off base) who have more vision then we have hands, due to this we are starting 2013 off in a place of seeking God, learning to rest in His presence and getting to know each other in order to build a team that can carry out the plans God has for YWAM-Paisley.
DTS - Discipleship Training School, and other ministries
Most of my year will be spent preparing for and helping to run our DTS which starts in May and runs through November. Having a huge love for teaching, training and discipleship this is one of the things I enjoy most about working with YWAM. I will also be spending time developing a rhythm and flow for evangelism, healing and a prophetic lifestyle through partnership with various ministries in Paisley and Glasgow. Recently I have been able to get a glimpse of what God is doing to awaken the prophetic voice in the church here, which is something I have sown years of prayer and tears into and I now have a renewed excited for the future of Scotland. (See below to read about Chuck Pierces Prophetic word over Scotland!)
Power of Obedience
Something God has been drilling into me lately is the power of obedience and rest. I often struggle with feeling a need to give reports and stats to show the Christian world what I am doing in Scotland. When in reality, that isn't what it's about at all. I am in Scotland for only one reason, obedience. This is the country that God planned and purposed for me to live in, to invest in, to weep over, to love - He could have called me anywhere in the world and I would have said yes but this is the place He chose. At times I feel it would have been much easier to be a missionary called to Africa, India, South America or a place that is more often viewed as a traditional "mission field", but the reality is, the world is a mission field. At any point, any christian could up and decide to move to a country foreign to them in order to be Christ's love and light in that place but if it's not coming from a place of obedience to God, will it hold as much weight and reap as much reward? I didn't choose Scotland, God said, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you" - Gen. 12. My testimony as a missionary in Scotland is not about how many people come to know God, get healed, delivered, or receive a prophetic word, though these things are all key and play a huge part, they are not the main testimony. My testimony is that I left my country, the home of my family, the place of comfort and stepped out in faith that God would meet me in my obedience to His word. My testimony is that I can wake up every morning knowing that I am walking in a place of obedience and from that place is where I have power and authority for ministry.
A Financial Note
Firstly, I have seen God come through for me in amazing ways. He is a God of more than enough and I am daily learning to trust in His goodness and His heart to provide for me. I am sharing the following financial information with you not so that you will feel any pressure to give but so that you can stand in faith with me to see these financial needs met, if you feel you would like to give towards these needs it truly is needed.
Here is a brief outline of my monthly expenses:
Accommodation and food costs = £270 a month
Mobile Phone = £10 a month
Ministry Travel Expenses = £30 a month
Random Needs, toiletries, art/music supplies, ect = £40 a month
Total = £350 GBP / $550 USD
Currently I am getting by on £270/$425 a month which, as you can see just covers my cost of living needs. I need to see my monthly support increase by £80/$130 right away in order to stay working with YWAM in Scotland.
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.”

Chuck Pierce Prophetic Word for Scotland
January 2013 in Edinburgh*
Scotland has transitioned!
Scotland has been stuck in a religious rut, people are pressing through and spiraling up the mountain and getting in the clouds
Fire mantle has been placed over Scotland as its inheritance
Unpack, repack and realign your vision
Old places will be filled with new generations
When Christians come together they are unlocking things in the heavens and earth
People know the sound that comes out of Scotland - Worship, you create the sound, it is distinct and releases specific things in the atmosphere. Shifting worship by realigning the sounds of heavens with the sounds of earth
God is realigning the future so your past will be overtaken
Mending storehouses and showing how to prepare
Zechariah 3: Unwrapped from the past, it's all changing
Scotland will see the Nations around begin to shift because of the fire and new sound flowing from the land
Boundaries for your inheritance - don't give Satan anything!
It was such a joy and privilege to be at this meeting and see God moving on a land that I have carried in my heart for so long and often felt alone in the battle but God's eyes have turned to Scotland and His fire is coming to this land!
