Day 30/30: Dying.

Whelp, I wanted to end the challenge with a bang. But with finals week starting, and after 29 other days of the challenge, this about sums up how I feel.

My original concepts were getting too meta anyways.

30 Day Art Challenge: Day 30 - Dying

Didn’t know what to do. This has been fun, but I am a bit tired; this was definitely rushed.

Day 30 - Dying

I was going to end this thing with everything I’ve got - you know, line art, coloring, shading, etc. with a bit of comic (since that’s the format I like making the most)… But, you know what? I’m tired and hungry, so screw it. I got 3 out of those 4 things I wanted so… Bleh!

A little bit of explanation is probably in order. The comic refers to a dream I had several days ago. The story goes something like this:

There were 4 of us. We had a limited supply of vaccines and ammo. One of our over confident friend decided to go check out an infected area on his own. He never came back.

Us, half expecting this to happen, went to the village to find out what had happened. The two remaining friends of mine had to go off somewhere (can’t remember why) and when they were gone, there was a horde attack. Panicking, I rushed all the villagers into the safe room and locked it, only to realize… This.

Needless to say, I died :| This marks the 8th death in my dreams.

Day 29/30: Cityscape

This tutorial was helpful in helping me lay out the perspective guidelines. I’ll have to practice landscapes and cityscapes more so I can learn to add more detail into the pictures.
