gpxhyuk:
as someone who didn’t have time for bullshit, hyuk hated wasting time. he was a firm believer of taking the opportunity when you have it and not wasting it. and if he were to be very honest about it, he wanted to go to sleep right at this very moment but then one of his informants told him they had something that could solve the gang problem except when he got there, he was informed of something he already knew. and while he didn’t get anything new from them, hyuk was at least glad that word was getting around that the noisy couple had been silenced forever by his brother. but now he was making his way back to his car after passing by the convenience store to buy some puppy food for bae’s puppy, bean. he didn’t have his own pets—pets weren’t allowed in his condominium—so he figured he should live his life of having a pet through his friends. and it was then that he noticed a figure by the alleyway. a girl from the looks of it, and a lost boy. must be the only female from that gang, he thought then. “you need to get those cleaned,” he said instead as he noticed her bloody hand and her shaking form. already, hyuk could tell that she had gone through some sort of violent ordeal. “come on, i have a clinic near here.” and he walked off, not at all waiting for the girl to follow. whether or not she came with him was her choice—although if she didn’t come, he was going to call bae and tell him about it.
she was focused on lightly trying to pick out the glass shards from her hand when she heard the approaching figure-- the voice that cut through the air instead and had her still shaking form practically glaring at where he was coming from-- did he think she was an idiot? nuri knew after all, that she needed to get this cleaned up but how the hell was she supposed to while she was here and clearly shaken. “i know that.” she bit out, face hardened because she didn’t need to, or want to deal with this right now. she didn’t move to follow him, staying in her place because nuri didn’t trust those she didn’t know. hell, why should she? it wasn’t like he looked friendly of anything, and she didn’t want to have to deal with any of this. “i don’t even know you, and i’m a medic myself. why should i follow you?”
