his past few days had been.. productive, to say the least anyway. mostly in the way of a lot of death, and a lot of changes that needed to be done. be that releasing members of their duties in the only way that they deserved, or changes around his gang to make them stronger and safer. more patrolling of their borders, catching anyone that even thought they could get near them, and in general just making sure that the nameless weren’t going to be the next struck. they’d already been framed, and he wasn’t about to let anyone decide that they could just come and run them over like the snakes had. but now after a long day, a tiring day, as he makes his way slowly back to his apartment, the sound of footsteps don’t go amiss behind him. “unless you have business with me that needs attended to immediately, i suggest you turn around and walk the other way while i’m in a good mood.” it was debatable how good that mood even was, but it was good enough that he hadn’t just turned around and lashed out instead.

Truth be told, she didn’t have the energy to chase him around  like she usually did, both mental and physical  exhaustion plaguing her body. She wasn’t working sure, but she had lost interest in her daily routine, barely waking up to make sure her brother had everything he needed for the day, let alone her friends . Hell, yeri had been so tired lately she skipped her trips to Hyuk’s and her internet cafes. There was a feeling in her stomach that things weren’t right, and aside form Seung and her brother, she felt like she couldn’t trust anyone anymore. “I just came to give you an update.” She says tiredly, walking a little faster in order to keep up with him. “Minseok and Deokhye haven’t been around--- But the last time we all talked they threw what happened; in my face and I just-- i felt disposable and like.. maybe I am or whatever, I get i don’t matter in the grand scheme of things but it hurt my feelings or whatever..” She said, figuring he didn’t really care if she  had her feelings hurt.  “But other than that.. i’m doing better , thanks to you. Sleeping is hard and I can’t really sit still.. but.. Other than that I guess.. everything’s fine. How are you Sunbae?”

Daegyoo hums his approval and murmurs out a come in, not looking up as he gestures for the person to walk forward but he looks up from his desk slowly as Yeri approaches, pushing his notes away and lunch as he folds his hands together and nods in greeting. despite her put together appearance daegyoo can tell from how lost she still looks that she isn’t fully recovered yet and probably won’t be for a while. with that in mind the second in command scoots his chair back and offers her his most comfortable one, pulling it out for her politely and sitting at the edge of his desk with a thoughtful expression. he had been disgusted to find the group chat and had been instructed to act quickly to get things back in order but the things that had been said, daegyoo’s reprimanding would only result in stopping it from happening again. he couldn’t change what had already been said and stored away in fragile minds. he imagined it was playing on yeri’s deeply and he felt horrid knowing his gang couldn’t even respect her ordeal after everything they’d been through together. the gambling halls were a huge part of them yes but nothing like a member, and those halls would mean nothing without the members who worked so they could be gained anyway. Yeri was far more valuable as were all the members and what had disgusted Daegyoo more as a figure of authority was the sheer lack of respect he had seen for such a basic principle to them. They may not have been the strongest gang but they had always been known for a tight bond. “ I’m glad to have some alone time with you Yeri. we can discuss whatever you like. I’m here for you no matter what you request” he finally speaks as he gives her an encouraging nod and supportive smile, features attentive as he prepares to listen.

Lost.  It was a great way to describe how she had been feeling. It had seemed if the notion had followed her from place to place. It was prevalent in her daily life; the way she blindly followed what other’s told her to do, the way she, unintentionally, refused to act for herself and ask questions that didn’t really need to be asked.-- How she acted, in ways, like a child.  Yeri didn’t want to grow up,  sure, but even children moved on when the people they were hanging out with didn’t like them. it had been three years since she felt like this; since she felt like people coined on throwing the bad things that happened in her life in her face. This was different. In the fact that she felt like she brought everything that happened three years ago herself. By staying with that boy and giving him something she had originally thought was special-- And this? She just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, but she  didn’t like how it seemed as if just like those girls did at her old high school threw the group chat and their boyfriends or crushes nasty thoughts in her face as if she was just some ‘whore’ to be used and not an actual person-- Her gang did the same since she was ‘simply a prostitute.’ . She gives him a small bow, shuffling her way over to the sit as he sat on the desk and she followed small hands in her lap, eyes falling down to  look at them. “I just-- I do’t know.. What to do or how to feel.” She began, voice small and quiet. By no means was Yeri usually a quiet person; sure she wasn’t boisterous and talked at obnoxious volumes, but she wasn’t as quiet as her twin. Despite how soft her voice was at the moment. “ I want to ignore it, I really do but.. even if they aren’t here.. i feel like.. that’s all I really am to you guys-- A prostitute, I mean. I just, I know I was new to the game and all but between... the prices I was told to offer and.. just .. the group chat I don’t feel.. I don’t feel like a person anymore. And I know I.. can’t just up and leave. So A beating o what ever.. I’ll take it. But.. I can’t be somewhere where.. I’m seen as an object and not  a person. I’ve been through that once and I promised myself I wouldn’t put myself through that again unless it was for Yein.”
