i love fics that feel so... grown. fics about adults that were written by adults who have years of life experience under their belts who pour that into their writing. fics where you can tell this is a person who has lived through a marriage or a divorce or a child or children or parent death or any number of Huge Life Events because the way they write with an emphasis on the highs and lows of the human experience rather than an emphasis on tropes (not throwing shade) is just so. oh man, it's just so fucking good. if my blorbos are grown men, grown women, grown people, i love it when they feel like grown people, not just extensions of the (young) author's imagination. (still not throwing shade). you know?

I didn’t rly keep up with twitchcon, but the horror that I have seen involving CCs I like so far are:

-Emiru getting assaulted at a meet and greet event that Twitch forced her to have, due to improper security, and then they lied abt it and didn’t check up on her after.

-GoodtimeswithScar, who is in a wheelchair, not having a ramp to get on stage, and then putting him by a large speaker during the games when he also needs a breathing aid.

-Ironmouse, including multiple if not all other Vtubers who did meet and greets, had their fan gifts thrown out.

Does Twitch hate their streamers 😭⁉️

lazy update since i haven't been online

-Twitch (Dan Clancy) wrote a public apology to Emiru abt what happened, but Emiru says they did not reach out to her privately, along with Twitch also lying abt being in contact with the police/not cooperating AND withholding information from her and her team regarding the assault.

-Twitch and Scar are in communication abt the accessibility issues

-Staff told Ironmouse her stuff wouldn't be thrown out and even marked her stuff with her name so other people knew it wasn't trash, but it was thrown out anyway. Mouse's manager (r0xy) managed to save her fan gifts, but other Vtubers had their stuff thrown out. (as far as i know ! i don't know which other streamers were involved or what they had to say abt the matter.)

anyway my only prediction for the next episode is that cleo will get to level 3 because they did ask “why am i holding back? everyone knows now” at the end of last episode. cleo go full strength livestock dog mode Pleasee
