I feel a little called out I lowk prob sound like that lmaoo 😭😭😭 tbh I don’t defend or support jimmy’s actions (grooming, saying the n word, etc because that is HORRIBLE) and I don’t think he is a good person but regardless I can appreciate that all the members of MSI are insanely talented musicians who often actually spread good messages, or at least thoughtful ones that worth at least trying to understand, through songs and other things. And as for the other members of the band, I mean ig there’s the “problematic factor” of being associated with a problematic person but that’s honestly BS and an excuse to hate on other members of MSI js bc of Jimmy when at least as far as I know they haven’t done anything unusually bad. Like why is Lyn-Z being villainized meanwhile Gerard receives 0 backlash (and I’d like to state I don’t think he should) for having been close friends with Jimmy. also, I don’t think it’s necessary to mention not supporting MSI in a post that’s simply talking abt being an MSI fan or liking the music. Obviously if the post is abt jimmy’s actual actions and not supporting them then you’d tag it or such, but js post abt it once, put it in ur intro, or smth, u don’t need to tag it in every single fan post. It’s not separating the art from the artist if u feel a CONSTANT need to point out that u separate the art from the artists while focusing on the art. Also this is something I see a lot in the MSI fandom more than any other fandom, because there are SO MANY problematic artists that ppl still listen to and they’re allowed to. But I don’t see this kinda stuff usually when ppl are talking abt McCafferty, Ayesha Erotica, Drake, or nearly any rockstar, who are also problematic. Ppl act like Jimmy Urine is the first problematic person to make music and have fans and MSI is the first band with a problematic person to make music and have fans.

As much as I love MSI the fandom can be so annoying at times. Because it’s either constant reminders of how they don’t support Jimmy when u were literally js talking abt a song??? Or another member?? Or its fans trying desperately to prove that Jimmy was innocent and defending him blindly. Can ppl pls js be normal abt MSI for once
