If you remember from my first story, my mother abandoned us when I was 5. That was my first memory. I didn't get to put into the following story how much my brother Nick and I did not get along. It was bad. The 2 years after my mom left were hard. But I never thought I would be tasked with a decision such as the one at the end of this story here. Since I, Joseph Truax, through my children's book series, am about to help children learn what life is like through the eyes of other children, I figured you all might want to get to know me.
